Delivery in Romania is done by:
- GLS Courier: Delivery in 1 day for orders placed until 20:30. Cost: 24 lei.
- Personal pickup: Sibiu, Str. Rahovei no. 16A (CT2).
- DHL: For international orders. The cost and delivery time will be communicated after placing the order.
The delivery time is 1-2 business days, but may be extended in exceptional cases (weather conditions, high volume of orders).
Orders placed outside of business hours (Mon-Fri 10:00 - 20:30) will be processed the next business day.
Tatuat.ro products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity, according to the legislation in force. If non-conformities occur, the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge. You can return the products within 14 days of receiving them, according to OUG 34/2014. Complete the return form on the site to initiate the process. Products must be in their original packaging, intact and accompanied by all accessories.
Products exempt from return:
- Sealed products that cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons, if they have been unsealed (e.g.: mascaras, creams).
- Personalized or made-to-order products according to the customer's specifications.
- Products susceptible to deterioration or expiration quickly.
Return costs are covered by the customer, except in cases where the product is defective or incorrectly delivered. The refund of the amount paid will be made within 14 days of receiving the return.

Description
The Stay Up Spring Hummingbird is the original stay-up spring for Hummingbird rotary machines, the component that maintains the needle bar in the upper (retracted) position when the machine is not running or between penetration cycles. This spring prevents the needle from free-falling under its own weight when the machine is stopped with the grip oriented downward, thus protecting the needle tip from damage through contact with the tube or grip cap. During operation, the stay-up spring complements the rotary cam action, ensuring the needle bar faithfully follows the cam profile and promptly returns to the retracted position in the ascending phase of the cycle. Without a functional stay-up spring, at lower RPMs the needle may lag in retraction, creating a skin-catching effect that traumatizes tissue and produces irregular lines. The spring is manufactured from small-diameter spring steel wire, hardened and tempered to provide sufficient sustaining force to maintain the needle bar yet insufficiently strong to significantly oppose the penetration force — a delicate balance that differentiates the original part from generic imitations. The Hummingbird V2 incorporates an adjustable suspension system via the dial on the cap, which modifies the stay-up spring preload, allowing the artist to adapt rigidity according to working style. The part wears over time and requires periodic replacement.
