Description
Instrumental disinfectant, it is used by immersion (it is placed in the solution), it cannot be sprayed or wiped with it. It is used diluted. It is a high level disinfectant. It is no longer necessary to put the instrument in an incubator or autoclave.
Do not use on surfaces, it contains substances that can be toxic if dispersed in the air. Disinfection of instruments must be done in tubs with lids.

Aplication domain
Used for manual disinfection and cold chemical disinfection/sterilization of surgical instruments and sensitive medical instruments. Especially recommended for thermosensitive and thermostable endoscopes (flexible and rigid) and ultrasonic probes.
Suggestions for use
- Do not combine with a thermochemical process based on quaternary ammonium compounds or amines. For example, in this case, aldehyde-based products are preferred.
- In addition to the manual processing of endoscopes and instruments, gigasept FF (new) is also recommended for semi-automatic and fully automatic machines that operate at room temperature through a closed circuit process.
Methods/Instructions for application
- Make sure that the devices to be treated are completely immersed without air gaps. After the contact time has expired, rinse the instruments with water of an appropriate quality depending on the subsequent use of the instruments or equipment (eg, sterile water).
- Thus interactions and unwanted effects can be avoided in the subsequent manual or mechanical treatment.
Cleaning/disinfection
The cleaning action of gigasept FF(new) can be
substantially improved with products to enhance the cleaning process developed especially for gigasept FF (new). For cleaning and disinfection without fixing the proteins, it is recommended to add 1% cleaning potentiator or gigazyme to the prepared working solution.
