Description
Size: Ø15mm
The caps are used as a support for glue/pigments and are used in tattoo procedures, micropigmentation, microblading, eyelash extensions.
The disposable caps, made of transparent plastic, make the tattooing process easier and faster, as it is always at hand.
It can be used both for pigment, adhesive, as well as for remover or primer.
It is positioned on the support specially designed for the covers, depending on the need and comfort of the artist.
15mm ink caps are large-size ink containers designed for tattoo sessions requiring larger ink quantities for extensive shading, color packing and work on ample surfaces. Made from resistant transparent plastic, these caps offer superior volume that reduces refill frequency and enables smoother, more efficient working sessions. The 15mm diameter provides sufficient space for comfortable dipping of larger needle configurations such as Magnum and Round Shader, facilitating uniform ink loading. The transparent plastic allows continuous monitoring of ink level and consistency. The stable cap walls prevent accidental tipping even on crowded work surfaces. Each cap is single-use, discarded after every session to prevent cross-contamination. The 15mm size is the preferred choice of artists working large, colorful pieces where consistent ink flow is essential for uniform, vibrant results. Manufactured through precision injection molding from transparent medical plastic, each cap meets strict dimensional tolerances ensuring consistency between batches. The plastic used is tested for chemical inertness and doesn't react with any professional tattoo ink formula whether carbon-based, water-based or with organic pigments. Transparent walls allow continuous monitoring of ink level and consistency, facilitating refilling at the optimal time. Universal compatibility with all standard ink cap holders in silicone, plastic or metal available on the market. Each cap is designed for single use and is disposed of after the session in compliance with sanitary regulations for contaminated waste in tattoo studios.
Frequently Asked Questions
When is using 15mm caps recommended?
15mm caps are recommended for extensive shading, color packing, large surface work and long sessions where significant quantities of ink in a single color are consumed.
Are they too large for lining work?
Yes, they are oversized for lining. 8mm or 12mm caps are more suitable for lining as they limit ink quantity to what's strictly necessary and reduce waste.
Do Magnum needles fit in 15mm caps?
Yes, the 15mm diameter allows comfortable dipping of Magnum needles up to 15M, including Curved Magnum. The space is sufficient for uniform loading of all needles in the configuration.
Does ink dry faster in larger caps?
Yes, the larger exposed surface means slightly faster evaporation. Pour only the needed ink quantity and refill if necessary. In long sessions, monitor ink consistency.
Do they fit standard cap holders?
15mm caps require holders with corresponding hole sizes. Many universal holders have multiple hole sizes accepting caps from 8mm to 20mm.
How much ink does a 15mm cap hold?
A 15mm cap can hold approximately 1-1.5ml of ink, enough for shading a medium-sized area or color filling a moderate area without refilling.
Are they more stable than small caps?
Yes, the wider base of 15mm caps offers superior stability on the workstation. They are less prone to accidental tipping than 8mm caps.
Can I mix two colors in a 15mm cap?
Technically yes, the space allows mixing two colors. Some artists create custom tones directly in the large cap. However, for pure colors, use separate caps.
What needle configurations benefit most from 15mm?
Magnum (M1), Curved Magnum (CM), large Round Shader (RS) and flat shader configurations. Any configuration with more than 9 needles benefits from the extra space of 15mm caps.
What's the price difference between 12mm and 15mm?
15mm caps are slightly more expensive per unit due to additional material. The difference is minimal and justified by the larger volume and efficiency in shading sessions.
