The 15 mm flat-base ink caps represent the preferred choice of tattoo artists who work with generous amounts of ink during their sessions. With a 15-millimeter diameter, these ink caps offer superior pigment storage volume, making them ideal for extensive shading work, large fills, and complex color projects requiring abundant ink. The flat base ensures perfect stability on any work surface, eliminating the risk of tipping over and losing precious ink. Manufactured from high-quality resistant plastic, these single-use consumables meet the strictest hygiene standards in the tattoo industry. The transparent material allows constant monitoring of ink levels and rapid color identification, saving valuable time during complex multi-color sessions. The finely finished interior surface prevents air bubble formation and ensures uniform pigment distribution, facilitating consistent ink pickup on needles. The 15 mm ink caps are the standard size used by most professional artists for everyday work, offering the perfect balance between capacity and ergonomics. They integrate seamlessly with standard ink cap holders and Magic Tape adhesive strips for secure attachment. The package contains 100 pieces, ensuring sufficient stock for multiple tattooing sessions. Each cap is produced under controlled hygienic conditions and packaged in sealed bags. The use of single-use ink caps is mandatory according to sanitary regulations for tattoo salons and guarantees client safety through cross-contamination prevention. These are compatible with all tattoo ink brands, including Fusion Ink, Eternal Ink, Intenze, World Famous, and Dynamic.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I choose 15 mm ink caps over other sizes?
The 15 mm ink caps are considered the standard size in the tattoo industry, offering the best balance between ink storage capacity and workspace footprint. They are large enough to hold ink needed for shading and fills, yet compact enough not to clutter the work area.
How are flat-base ink caps correctly used?
Flat-base ink caps are placed on the work surface covered with protective film. They are secured with Magic Tape adhesive strips or inserted into special holders. Ink is poured in the necessary quantity, avoiding overfilling. They are used once and disposed of after the session according to medical waste protocols.
What volume of ink can a 15 mm cap hold?
A 15 mm flat-base cap can hold approximately 1.5-2 ml of ink, depending on the specific model depth. This volume is sufficient for continuous work on medium and large areas without frequent refilling. For very extensive projects, preparing multiple caps with the same color is recommended.
Are the 15 mm ink caps compatible with standard holders?
Yes, the 15 mm flat-base ink caps are compatible with standard ink cap holders available on the market. The flat base allows them to sit stably both in dedicated holders and directly on the work surface or secured with adhesive tape. The 15 mm size is the most widespread and all holders are designed for this size.
How often should ink caps be changed during a session?
Ink caps must be changed for every new client, without exception. Within the same session, a cap can be used throughout the work for the same color. If the ink dries out or becomes contaminated with other colors, the cap must be replaced immediately. Fresh ink should not be added over old ink in the same cap.
What materials are used to manufacture the ink caps?
The ink caps are manufactured from medical-grade, non-toxic, and non-reactive plastic. The material does not chemically interact with any type of tattoo ink and does not release harmful substances. The transparent or translucent plastic is specially chosen to allow clear visualization of the color and ink quantity.
Can flat-base ink caps be used for microblading or micropigmentation?
Yes, 15 mm flat-base ink caps can also be used for microblading and micropigmentation procedures. The size is suitable for pigments used in these procedures. However, many microblading artists prefer smaller 8-9 mm caps for reduced pigment quantities and more precise control.
How should unused ink caps be stored?
Unused ink caps should be stored in their original sealed packaging, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. No special temperature conditions are required. The packaging must remain intact until the moment of use to maintain hygienic conditions. The shelf life is practically unlimited for sealed plastic products.
What advantages do flat-base ink caps have over round ones?
Flat-base ink caps have the major advantage of stability on the work surface thanks to the flat bottom. They do not necessarily require a special holder and can be placed directly on the table. The risk of tipping is minimal, preventing ink loss and work area contamination. Round ink caps always require a dedicated holder.
Is the use of single-use ink caps mandatory in tattoo salons?
Yes, according to current sanitary regulations, the use of single-use consumables, including ink caps, is mandatory in all tattoo salons. This measure prevents cross-contamination and the transmission of infectious diseases between clients. Sanitary inspections verify compliance with these regulations.
