Delivery in Romania is done by:
- GLS Courier: Delivery in 1 day for orders placed until 20:30. Cost: 24 lei.
- Personal pickup: Sibiu, Str. Rahovei no. 16A (CT2).
- DHL: For international orders. The cost and delivery time will be communicated after placing the order.
The delivery time is 1-2 business days, but may be extended in exceptional cases (weather conditions, high volume of orders).
Orders placed outside of business hours (Mon-Fri 10:00 - 20:30) will be processed the next business day.
Tatuat.ro products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity, according to the legislation in force. If non-conformities occur, the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge. In case of impossibility of repair, you can receive a price reduction. Damaged or missing products must be reported within 24 hours of receipt. For more details, consult the warranty certificate.

You can return the products within 14 days of receiving them, according to OUG 34/2014. Complete the return form on the site to initiate the process. Products must be in their original packaging, intact and accompanied by all accessories.
Products exempt from return:
- Sealed products that cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons, if they have been unsealed (e.g.: mascaras, creams).
- Personalized or made-to-order products according to the customer's specifications.
- Products susceptible to deterioration or expiration quickly.
Return costs are covered by the customer, except in cases where the product is defective or incorrectly delivered. The refund of the amount paid will be made within 14 days of receiving the return.
THIS PRODUCT IS EXEMPT FROM RETURNS, according to OUG 34/2014 on consumer rights, Art. 16. Sealed products, unsealed for health protection or hygiene reasons, cannot be returned.
Description
The Retainer Spring Hummingbird is the main retention spring of Hummingbird rotary machines, the component that ensures correct and controlled tension of the needle bar in relation to the machine's drive mechanism. This precision spring differs from the retainer screw spring in its distinct function — while the retainer screw spring prevents unscrewing, the retainer spring provides the return force that brings the needle bar back to the retracted position after each penetration cycle. It is the functional equivalent of the contact spring on traditional coil machines, adapted for the Hummingbird rotary architecture. Manufactured from high-quality spring steel with controlled heat treatment, the spring maintains a constant elastic rate across tens of thousands of operating cycles, ensuring return force consistency throughout the tattooing session. The elastic rate (spring constant) is factory-calibrated to provide the optimal balance between needle retraction speed and pressure sensitivity — a critical aspect for artists who want fine control over penetration depth through hand pressure variation. Signs of wear include loss of tension (needle does not fully retract), inconsistency in return force, or visible coil deformation. A worn spring transforms a precision Hummingbird machine into an unpredictable instrument. The original part is the only one that guarantees the correct elastic rate specified by the manufacturer for each model. Compatible with all Hummingbird versions.
