Guide & full description
Complete guide: Eternal Nuclear Green 30ml
An extremely intense neon green ink from the Eternal range — an American brand founded in 1976 in Detroit — delivered in a 30 ml bottle with a squeeze dropper for precise dosing. It is marketed as drawing ink and is intended for tattoo artists who sketch their designs, create flash art or practice on synthetic skin, as well as illustrators looking for an electric green with maximum visual impact. The pre-dispersed formula, based on organic pigments, is vegan and cruelty-free according to the manufacturer.
How to use
- Shake the bottle well before each use, even if the formula is pre-dispersed — this ensures the pigment is homogeneous.
- Pour only the necessary amount into a separate container (ink cap or disposable well) — never work directly from the bottle.
- Apply the ink with your preferred drawing tool: brush, pen, or, for practice, a tattoo machine on synthetic skin.
- If you want a custom shade, mix it in a separate container with other Eternal colors — for example with White for a pastel neon green.
- Do not pour leftover ink back into the bottle after a session — discard the surplus, no matter how little.
- Tightly close the squeeze dropper immediately after dispensing to prevent the ink from drying out and becoming contaminated.
- Store the bottle in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight.
Tips from us
- Note the date of first opening on the label — it helps you keep track of the ink's age.
- Mixing recipes from the Eternal range: with White you get a light, pastel neon green; with a little True Blue, an electric blue-green; with Lime Green or Mint Green you build natural gradients.
- Test the color on a piece of the final substrate (paper or synthetic skin) before the project — a neon green looks different depending on the surface.
- For maximum neon effect, apply a saturated and uniform layer — Nuclear Green is the most vibrant green in the standard Eternal range, so a little goes a long way.
- Do not touch the bottle neck with brushes, needles or other work surfaces — always dispense 'from above', directly into the ink cap.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this ink for tattoos on skin?▾
No. Although it bears the name Eternal Ink, this product is explicitly sold as drawing ink, not for tattooing — this note is clearly stated in the product sheet, and use for any other purpose is strictly the consumer's responsibility. If you want to tattoo, choose inks explicitly marketed for tattooing, compliant with current European regulations.
What shade is Nuclear Green and what kind of works is it suitable for?▾
It is an extremely intense and bright neon green — the most vibrant green in the standard Eternal range, with an electric character, close to a fluorescent pigment. It is ideal for sketches and designs in styles that rely on visual impact: new school, biomechanical, trash polka, 'radioactive' elements or neon light effects, on paper or on practice synthetic skin.
Can I mix it with other Eternal colors?▾
Yes, it mixes easily with any color from the Eternal range. With White you get a lighter, pastel neon green, with Lime Green or Mint Green you create natural gradients, and with a small amount of True Blue you get an electric blue-green. Always mix in a separate container, not in the original bottle.
Can it be used with a tattoo machine on practice synthetic skin?▾
Yes — practicing on synthetic skin is exactly the kind of use for which artists choose a drawing ink like this. The pre-dispersed formula has a uniform consistency straight from the bottle and flows consistently through standard equipment, whether rotary, coil or pen, for both lines and fills. However, keep in mind that it remains intended exclusively for drawing and practice, not for tattooing on skin.
How do I store the ink to avoid contamination and make it last as long as possible?▾
Three simple rules: always dispense into ink caps or disposable wells and discard the surplus (do not pour it back into the bottle), tightly close the squeeze dropper immediately after use, and store the bottle in a cool, dark place away from sunlight. Before each use, shake well and check the appearance of the ink — if you notice persistent separation, unusual odor or changes in consistency, it is safer not to use it.
Is the product vegan?▾
Yes, according to the manufacturer, the ink is 100% vegan and cruelty-free: it contains no animal-derived glycerin, shellac or other animal ingredients, but only organic pigments and synthetic ingredients. Eternal ist known as one of the pioneers of organic pigments in the industry, since 1976.
