Complete guide: Eternal True Blue 30ml
An intense blue ink from the Eternal range, delivered in a 30 ml bottle with a squeeze cap and sold as drawing ink. The True Blue shade is the classic reference blue: pure, saturated, balanced, without leaning toward violet or green. It is useful if you work with the Eternal palette and need a universal blue, from which you can build practically all chromatic variations through mixing.
How to use
- Check the bottle's integrity and expiration date before first use.
- Shake the bottle well before each use to homogenize the pigment.
- Dispense only the necessary amount through the squeeze cap into a separate container (single-use cap or clean well).
- Work exclusively from the separate container — never reintroduce leftover ink back into the bottle.
- For derived shades, mix in the container with other Eternal colors: Turquoise (blue-green), Robin Egg (light blue), Light Purple (blue-violet), White (pastel), or Triple Black (dark blue).
- When finished, wipe the bottle neck and close the cap tightly.
- Store at room temperature, away from light and heat; do not freeze.
Tips from us
- Write the opening date on the bottle so you can easily track the ink's age relative to the expiration date.
- Dispense small portions — it's more economical and hygienic than pouring a lot and throwing away the rest.
- If you want a lighter blue, add White gradually, in small steps; it's much easier to lighten a shade than to darken it back.
- For a dark, 'navy' blue, mix True Blue with Triple Black little by little, testing the shade as you go.
- Keep the bottle tightly closed between uses — exposure to air and heat degrades the ink faster.
- If you also need blue-green tones, consider Turquoise from the same range: together they cover the entire blue-green spectrum.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this ink for tattoos?▾
On tatuat.ro, this product is sold as drawing ink — this is its stated purpose. Use for any other purpose than stated is strictly the consumer's responsibility, and the store assumes no liability in this case. The manufacturer Eternal declares for its range REACH and ResAP compliance, organic pigments, and sterilization by autoclaving, but the decision and responsibility regarding the method of use are entirely yours.
What shade of blue is True Blue?▾
True Blue is a pure, intense, and balanced blue, without excessive leanings toward violet or green — the classic reference blue, comparable to a royal or cobalt blue. It is designed as the 'universal' blue of the Eternal palette: the starting point from which all chromatic variations are built, either by direct use or by mixing with other colors in the range.
What colors can True Blue be mixed with?▾
True Blue mixes very well with other Eternal colors: with Turquoise you get blue-green tones, with Robin Egg a light blue, with Light Purple a blue-violet, with White pastel shades, and with Triple Black a dark navy blue. Basically, starting from True Blue you can cover the entire blue spectrum. Always mix in a separate container, not in the bottle, and add the second color gradually, testing the shade as you go.
What should I choose between True Blue and Turquoise?▾
It depends on the tone you are looking for: True Blue is a pure, cool blue, without a hint of green — the 'classic' blue. Turquoise is a blue-green, warmer, with a more exotic character. If you need a single basic, versatile blue, True Blue is the natural choice; if you often work with aquatic or greenish tones, the two together give you the complete blue-green spectrum.
How should I properly store the ink and how long can I use it?▾
Store the bottle at room temperature, away from direct light and heat, with the cap tightly closed after each use. Do not freeze it. Shake well before each use to homogenize the pigment. Respect the expiration date on the bottle and, for hygiene, always dispense into separate containers — ink that has left the bottle should never be reintroduced.
Is this ink vegan?▾
Yes. According to the manufacturer, the Eternal formula is 100% vegan and cruelty-free: it contains no animal-derived ingredients and is not tested on animals.
