Guide & full description
Complete guide: Fusion Turquoise drawing brush 15 ml
A professional drawing ink in vibrant turquoise shade, packaged in a 15 ml bottle, designed for tracing stencils and freehand drawings directly on the skin. The turquoise shade clearly differentiates itself from both black and blue tattoo inks, so the guide lines remain visible even in complex color projects. The water-based formula, with high pigment load, is vegan, and the compact bottle makes it suitable for mobile artists or for testing the shade before ordering more.
How to use
- Wash your hands, put on disposable gloves and prepare the client's work area: clean and degrease the skin according to your usual stencil preparation procedure.
- Shake the bottle well before use so that the pigment is evenly distributed in the liquid.
- Pour a small amount of ink into a disposable container (e.g. an ink capsule) — never work directly from the bottle to avoid contaminating it.
- Load the drawing tool (fine-tip pen, brush or other professional drawing tool) and trace the stencil or freehand drawing on the skin.
- Let the ink dry completely before starting work — once dry, it forms a layer that keeps the lines visible throughout the session.
- If during a long session an area gets wiped off, reapply locally only with fresh ink from the disposable container.
- At the end, clean the ink residues off the skin with warm water and soap, then discard the disposable container and any remaining ink left in it.
- Close the bottle tightly after each use and store it in a clean place, away from heat and direct sunlight.
Tips from us
- Choose turquoise especially for color tattoos: the stencil remains clearly differentiated from the tattoo's color palette, unlike a black or classic blue ink.
- On light and medium skin, the turquoise contrast is best — the manufacturer's description recommends it exactly for these skin tones.
- Never pour unused ink from the capsule back into the bottle — what you took out for a client is discarded at the end of the session.
- Wipe the outside of the bottle with a surface disinfectant after each session, especially if you touched it with your gloves during work.
- The 15 ml bottle is a good choice to test the shade before permanently integrating it into your workflow or for your travel kit.
- For clients with known sensitivities to dyes, do a patch test on a small area of skin before tracing the entire drawing.
Frequently asked questions
Can I tattoo with this turquoise ink?▾
No. It is a drawing ink, intended exclusively for tracing stencils and freehand drawings on the surface of the skin. It is not tattoo ink and must not be introduced under the skin. The manufacturer explicitly states that use for any purpose other than drawing is strictly at the consumer's own risk. For tattooing, use only tattoo inks intended for that purpose.
What drawing tools is it compatible with?▾
According to the description, the formula has uniformly dispersed pigments and a calibrated consistency that ensures a constant flow through professional drawing tools, including fine-tip pens, without clogging the tips. You can trace both fine details and broad outlines. For hygiene, feed the tool from a disposable container, not directly from the bottle.
Why would I choose turquoise over classic blue stencil ink?▾
Turquoise is lighter and more greenish than royal blue, so it differentiates better from blue tattoo inks. It is especially useful in color projects, where the stencil needs to remain easily distinguishable from the colors you are working with. Classic blue remains a versatile choice; turquoise is for situations where you want a clearer visual separation and offers good contrast on light and medium skin.
How long do the lines last on the skin during the session?▾
Once dry, the ink forms a layer resistant to accidental wiping and moderate sweating; the manufacturer's description states that the lines remain clear during standard 4-8 hour sessions. If an area gets wiped off during a long session, you can reapply locally quickly with fresh ink from the disposable capsule.
Is it safe for skin? What if the client has sensitive skin?▾
The formula is water-based, non-toxic and hypoallergenic, compliant with European REACH standards, and is vegan. However, for clients with known sensitivities to dyes, it is prudent to do a patch test on a small area of skin before tracing the entire drawing. Note that the safety refers to application on the skin's surface — not for tattooing.
How do I sanitize the bottle and clean the ink after the session?▾
From the skin, the ink is completely removed with warm water and soap. The bottle is not sanitized internally — you protect the contents by working correctly: pour only what you need into a disposable container, do not insert used tools into the bottle, and do not pour leftover ink back in. Wipe the outside of the bottle with a surface disinfectant, then close it tightly and store it away from heat and sun.
