Complete guide: Scorpion Disposable grip 32mm
A sterile, single-use grip with a generous 32mm diameter, designed for the InkMachines Scorpion pen-style machine. It comes individually packaged, ready to use, with an adapter included, and features a comfortable rubber surface for a secure hold. It is the solution for artists who want maximum hygiene without autoclaving — a new handle for each client. Made in Sweden.
How to use
- Check the integrity of the sterile blister before use. If the packaging is unsealed or damaged, do not use the grip.
- Open the blister just before the session with clean gloves and remove the handle along with the included adapter.
- Mount the grip onto the Scorpion machine using the 30-degree bayonet connection: align and lock with a short motion (not threaded with multiple turns).
- Insert the cartridge — both Neo cartridges (which sit at 90 degrees, smoother and more secure) and regular cartridges are compatible.
- Adjust the needle depth 'on the fly' from the top of the machine without rotating the handle. The depth remains set even if you disassemble and reassemble the grip, and the battery and needle stay aligned.
- After the session, remove the cartridge and then the grip from the machine.
- Dispose of the used grip — it is single-use and should not be re-sterilized.
Tips from us
- Keep a stock of sterile handles and use one for each client. It is the ideal solution for guest spots and conventions where you don't have access to an autoclave.
- The 32mm diameter offers a wide grip, suitable for large hands or long shading and filling sessions; if you work with very fine lines, you might prefer a thinner grip for that phase.
- Do not open the blister until the moment of use to maintain sterility until the last moment.
- Don't forget to use the adapter included in the package.
- Since the needle depth is preserved when reassembled, you can check or change the cartridge without losing your adjustment.
Warning: Sterile, SINGLE-USE product. Use a new handle for each client and dispose of it after use in the medical waste container (contaminated/sharps). Do not re-sterilize or reuse — risk of cross-contamination. Do not use the product if the blister is unsealed or damaged.
Frequently asked questions
Which machine is this grip compatible with?▾
It is designed for the InkMachines Scorpion machine, using its specific 30-degree bayonet connection. It is not intended for other machines. However, it accepts both Neo cartridges and regular cartridges.
Do I need to sterilize it before use?▾
No. It comes individually packaged, sterile, with an adapter included, ready to use. All you need to do is check that the blister is intact. Being single-use, you dispose of it after the session and do not re-sterilize it.
What cartridges can I use with it?▾
Both Neo cartridges and regular cartridges are compatible. Neo cartridges sit at 90 degrees, which provides a smoother and more secure fit to the grip compared to the 30-degree mounting of regular cartridges.
Why a bayonet connection instead of a thread?▾
The 30-degree bayonet fits better on the machine and allows you to adjust the needle depth 'on the fly' from the top of the machine without rotating the grip. The depth is preserved when you disassemble and reassemble the grip, and the battery and needle remain aligned.
Is the 32mm diameter right for me?▾
32mm is a wide diameter that provides a generous and comfortable grip — especially appreciated for large hands or for long shading and filling sessions where constant pressure is applied. For very fine lines, some artists prefer a thinner grip. Being single-use, you can easily switch between diameters depending on the phase.
How do I properly dispose of it after use?▾
It is single-use: after each client, you dispose of it in the medical waste container along with other contaminated consumables. It is not reused or re-sterilized.
Product description
Scorpion Disposable grip 32mm Scorpion Grips have a 30 degree bayonet fitting instead of a multi turn thread for better fitting on the machine. It allows the needle adjustment to be made "on the fly" at the top of the machine instead of turning the handle and the needle depth is preserved when the grip is removed and re-fitted to the machine. This feature also makes sure that the battery and needle stays aligned when the needle is adjusted. Neo-cartridges offer a more smooth and secure 90 degree fitting to the grip than the 30 degree type that the regular cartridge type have. Fits both Neo-cartridges and regular cartridges( Box of 10 ) Comfortable disposable rubber grips for one time use only. Individually packed and sterile including adapter. Made In Sweden Weight 20g
The 32mm disposable grip for InkMachines Scorpion is the sterile grip with generous diameter, designed for artists who prefer a substantial, comfortable hold for intensive shading and color packing sessions. The 32mm diameter is the largest available for Scorpion in the disposable variant, providing maximum palm contact surface and distributing pressure evenly across the entire circumference. This significantly reduces pressure points and muscle fatigue, allowing extended sessions without discomfort. Like all Scorpion disposable grips, each piece comes individually packaged in a sealed sterile blister, guaranteeing absolute hygiene — zero cross-contamination risk. Exclusive compatibility with InkMachines Scorpion ensures precise mounting without mechanical play, maintaining perfect alignment of both Neo and universal cartridges. Medical-grade material provides lightweight but solid construction with anti-slip texture on the outer surface. The 32mm diameter is preferred by artists with large hands (gloves L-XL), those working styles requiring constant pressure (color realism, Japanese, neo-traditional with extensive fills), and artists with ergonomic issues (carpal tunnel, tendinitis) who benefit from a more relaxed grip. Disposal is done in medical waste containers. The ideal solution for tattoo conventions, guest spots, and mobile sessions. Available in multi-piece packs for efficient supply. Medical-grade material construction meets EU safety standards, with lot number and manufacturing date for complete traceability. The per-piece price makes this grip an economical solution for maximum hygiene. Perfect for high-volume studios and traveling artists.
