Guide & full description

Complete guide: Cobra Inkmachines Tattoo Machine 1 Battery with 37mm Grip for Cartridge Needles

This is a wireless tattooing machine from Inkmachines, in the single battery version with a 37 mm aluminum grip, built for regular cartridges. It has adjustable give and stroke length, a detachable 2760 mAh battery with full BLE function, and control either from the buttons on the body or wirelessly via Bluetooth. It is designed for artists who work long sessions and want a balanced, finely configurable machine that can be integrated into the TPS X2 system.

How to use

Fully charge the Cobra Powerpack with the included 1 m USB-C cable before the first session.
Before each client, cover the machine body and grip with disposable protective barriers — electrical machines cannot be fully sterilized, so the barrier is mandatory.
Mount a sterile, single-use regular cartridge into the 37 mm grip.
Start and control the machine from the buttons on the body or connect it wirelessly via Bluetooth to the InkMachines foot pedal or smartphone app.
Adjust the give and stroke length according to the type of work, using the tools from the included Tool kit No. 90; exact steps are in the manual and instruction videos in the product's Downloads tab.
At the end of the session, dispose of the used cartridge in sharps waste, remove the barriers, then clean and disinfect the machine surfaces with a surface disinfectant, without submerging it in liquids.
Periodically lubricate the mechanism with the included oil, according to the manual's instructions, and recharge the battery for the next session.

Tips from us

The 2760 mAh battery is detachable — for very long sessions, a spare charged Powerpack eliminates charging breaks.
If you want to switch to Neo-cartridges, note that this version does not include conversion parts: you need the No. 270 'Regular to Neo' kit and a Neo-cartridge grip, purchased separately.
Watch the instruction videos or manual from the Downloads tab before adjusting stroke and give — the tools are included, but the correct procedure matters.
Take advantage of the TPS X2 system integration and app control if you want to save and reproduce your work settings.
When configuring, choose the color and size of the one-piece aluminum grip according to your grip preference — the balanced weight helps only when the grip fits your hand.

Warning: Polished finish grips must NOT be sterilized in an autoclave — there is a risk of discoloration; use disposable barriers and surface disinfection as per the manual. Cartridges are sterile single-use consumables: never reuse them between clients. The machine contains electronics and a battery — do not submerge it in liquids or autoclave it; clean it only by wiping with a surface disinfectant, with barriers applied during work.

Frequently asked questions

What cartridges can I use with this machine?▾

This version is intended for regular cartridges, mounted in the 37 mm aluminum grip. If you want to work with Neo-cartridges, you need the No. 270 'Regular to Neo' conversion kit and a dedicated Neo-cartridge grip — neither is included in this version.

How do I properly sanitize the machine and grip between clients?▾

Always work with disposable barriers on the machine body and grip, then disinfect surfaces after each client. Caution: Polished finish grips are not sterilized in an autoclave, as they risk discoloration. The cartridge is discarded after each use — it is a sterile single-use consumable.

What do I get in the package?▾

Minimum package contents: the Cobra machine with aluminum grip for regular cartridges, a Cobra Powerpack (full power supply), Tool kit No. 90, one 1 m USB-C cable, and maintenance oil. Neo-cartridge conversion parts are not included.

How long does the battery last in a session?▾

The integrated and detachable battery has a capacity of 2760 mAh, and the manufacturer does not specify a fixed number of hours — actual autonomy depends on your settings and work style. Being detachable and rechargeable via USB-C, you can keep a spare battery charged for long sessions.

Can I work without a foot pedal?▾

Yes. The machine can be fully controlled autonomously from the buttons on the body. If you prefer classic or remote control, it connects wirelessly via Bluetooth to the InkMachines foot pedal or the smartphone app and integrates into the TPS X2 system.

Is it suitable for a beginner artist?▾

It is a sophisticated machine with adjustable give and stroke length, designed for those who want fine control over settings. A beginner can use it, but we recommend going through the manual and instruction videos from the Downloads tab before any adjustments — the necessary tools are included in the package.
