Guide & full description

Complete guide: Mixer Ink White

The ink mixer is a small accessory used to homogenize the pigment inside the ink bottle before tattooing — especially useful when color particles have settled at the bottom after a period of rest. This version is colored white, made of quality ABS plastic, with compact dimensions (approximately 13 x 4.5 x 1.5 cm) and a weight of only 45 g, making it easy to handle and store. It is suitable for both professional studio use and occasional use. It comes with 5 replacement parts for the mixer, useful when the component contacting the ink wears out or needs to be changed.

How to use

  1. Check the ink bottle before use — if pigment is visibly settled at the bottom or the ink appears uneven in color, it needs mixing.
  2. Mount one of the included spares on the part of the mixer that contacts the ink, according to the product's attachment method.
  3. Position the mixer so that the tip/spare reaches the pigment in the bottle (mixers in this category usually work by rapidly rotating a rod or detachable tip).
  4. Activate the device for a few seconds until you notice the ink has become uniform in appearance and consistency.
  5. Stop it, remove it from the bottle, and visually check that the pigment is uniform throughout the depth of the bottle.
  6. Immediately clean the used spare while the ink is still fresh, before it dries on it.
  7. Store the mixer and unused spares in a clean, dry place away from dust between uses.

Tips from us

  • Use a separate spare for each color or client to avoid cross-contamination of pigments.
  • Do not keep the mixer running too long in a small bottle — periodically check the ink consistency to avoid introducing unnecessary air bubbles.
  • The 5 included spares are consumables: if you use the mixer frequently, keep track of how many you have left and order replacements in advance.
  • Clean the ABS housing with a damp cloth; avoid aggressive solvents that can damage the plastic over time.
  • As it is small and lightweight (45 g), keep it in a fixed spot among other accessories so it does not get lost.
Warning: The parts (spares) that directly touch the ink must be treated as pigment contact items: use a separate one per client or color and sanitize them properly between uses to prevent cross-contamination. The mixer is not a medical device and does not replace studio hygiene protocols — follow sterilization standards and use protective barriers specific to your workplace.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly does an ink mixer help with?▾

It helps homogenize the pigment inside the bottle, especially when color particles have settled at the bottom after a period of rest. The result is ink with a more uniform consistency, easier to dispense into the cup.

What is it made of and how much does it weigh?▾

It is made of quality ABS plastic, with compact dimensions of approximately 13 x 4.5 x 1.5 cm and a weight of about 45 g, making it very easy to handle and keep handy on the workbench.

What do I do with the 5 included spares?▾

These are replacement parts for the mixer component that directly contacts the ink. You use them one at a time — ideally a separate one for each color or client — and replace them when the current one wears out or gets dirty.

How do I clean and maintain it?▾

Wipe the housing with a damp cloth immediately after use, while the ink is still fresh, to prevent it from drying on the part. Avoid strong solvents that can attack the ABS plastic. Replacements that directly touch the pigment must be changed or properly sanitized between different uses, not reused carelessly between clients.

Does it fit any ink bottle?▾

The product sheet does not specify exact compatibility with a specific brand or bottle type. The compact dimensions suggest a wide-use design, but if you have an unusually shaped bottle, check at order or ask us before purchasing.

Is it suitable for occasional use, not just in the studio?▾

Yes — according to the product description, it is suitable for both professional studio use and occasional personal use.
