Guide & full description

Complete guide: Panthera Ink Reach Polar White 150ml

A professional white ink from the Panthera Ink Reach range, supplied in a 150 ml bottle, with a medium density consistency and strong saturation. It is formulated in accordance with the European REACH regulation, making it suitable for artists working in studios in the EU. White is one of the most versatile colors in an artist's kit: it is used both for highlights and for lightening other colors through mixing.

How to use

  1. Check the bottle's integrity and expiration date before first use; do not use ink with altered appearance or damaged cap.
  2. Shake the bottle well before each session so that the pigment is evenly homogenized in the liquid.
  3. Pour only the necessary amount into disposable ink caps — never work directly from the bottle.
  4. Close the cap immediately and place the bottle outside the work area to avoid contamination from splashing or contact with gloves.
  5. Use the white for highlights, light passages, or to lighten other colors through mixing, depending on the design of the work.
  6. At the end of the session, discard all remaining ink in the ink caps — never pour it back into the bottle.
  7. If the bottle has been in the work area, wipe it with a surface disinfectant before storing it.

Tips from us

  • Leave white highlights for the end of the session: clean needles and tubes prevent the white from getting dirty with dark pigment.
  • Allocate a separate ink cap for white and, ideally, a clean work tip — white is the most visually easily contaminated of all colors.
  • When lightening a color through mixing, add the white gradually, in small amounts, until you achieve the desired shade.
  • Store the bottle at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, with the cap tightly closed.
  • Note the date of first opening on the label so you can track how long the bottle has been in use.
Warning: Product intended exclusively for professional use by trained artists under strict hygiene conditions: disposable gloves, new ink caps for each client, and complete disposal of remaining ink after the session. Never return used ink to the bottle and do not dilute the product with tap water — the risk of contamination compromises both the bottle and the client's safety. Do not tattoo on irritated or injured skin.

Frequently asked questions

What is a white ink specifically used for in tattooing?

It has two main roles: highlights that give volume and brightness to the work, and mixing with other colors to obtain lighter shades. The medium density consistency of this ink makes it comfortable to work with in both scenarios, and the strong saturation helps the white settle visibly.

What does it mean that it is 'REACH compliant'?

REACH is the European Union regulation on chemicals, which since 2022 imposes strict limits on ingredients in tattoo inks sold in the EU. A REACH compliant ink can be legally used in studios in Romania and the rest of the European Union.

How do I properly maintain and store the bottle?

Shake it before each use, pour only into disposable ink caps, and close the cap immediately after pouring. Keep it at room temperature, away from sunlight, and wipe the exterior with disinfectant if it has been in the work area. Never pour leftover ink back into the bottle — it is the main route of contamination.

Can I mix it with inks from other brands?

The general rule in the industry is to mix colors from the same range or from the same manufacturer, because formulas differ and may behave differently during application and healing. If you want predictable results with mixes, the safest is to stay within the same ink line.

Why do white highlights look more intense immediately after tattooing?

It is a normal phenomenon with any white ink: immediately after the session the white appears very bright, and as the skin heals and the surface layer regenerates, the highlights tone down. The final appearance depends on skin type, the artist's technique, and aftercare during healing, so a specific result cannot be guaranteed.

Is it suitable for someone just starting out?

Being a professional ink, it is designed for artists already working in studio conditions. If you are a beginner, you can use it without issues for practice on synthetic skin, where you learn the dosage of white for highlights and mixes, before working on clients under supervision.
