A kit of 11 reusable stainless steel tips for classic tattoo setups with bar needles, mounted via the traditional tube + grip system. It covers both round sizes (3R, 5R, 7R, 9R, 14R) and flat sizes (5F, 7F, 9F, 11F, 13F, 15F) in a single purchase, so you have the right tip for lines, shading, or filling. It is designed for artists who work with traditional machines and prefer reusable, autoclavable equipment, as well as a complete backup in the studio.
How to use
- Choose the tip that matches the needle configuration you are using: R (round) tips for round needle groupings, F (flat) tips for needles arranged in a straight line. The number in the notation corresponds to the needle grouping size.
- Check the fit of the needle in the tip before the session: the needle should slide freely through the channel, without friction, but also without excessive play at the opening.
- Mount the tip onto the machine's grip according to the tube attachment system, then insert the needle bar through the assembly and secure it on the machine.
- Adjust the needle protrusion from the tip according to your working technique and check the needle alignment in the opening before starting.
- Work normally — the tip guides the needle and holds ink at the tip; rinse the tip when changing colors to avoid contaminating pigments.
- Immediately after the session, disassemble the assembly and mechanically remove ink residues before they have a chance to dry inside.
- Clean the tips in an ultrasonic bath, then sterilize them in an autoclave, packed in sterilization pouches.
- Store them sealed in sterilization pouches until the next use and visually inspect them before each assembly.

- Never let ink dry inside the tip — rinsing immediately after the session greatly shortens cleaning time and maintains consistent ink flow.
- Use a dedicated brush for the inside of the tubes: residues in the channel are hard to see but directly affect needle guidance and ink flow.
- Inspect the opening of each tip after sterilization cycles — a tip with a deformed opening or deep internal scratches must be retired.
- Keep the complete set even if you currently only work with 2-3 sizes: the rest of the tips are an immediate backup if one gets damaged in the middle of a workday.

Before ordering, simply check if your machine works with bar needles and a grip with a tube — if so, choose the tip according to the size of the needles you use.
How do I properly sterilize them and how often?▾
After every client, without exception: disassemble the tip from the grip, mechanically remove ink residues while they are fresh, run the tip through an ultrasonic bath to clean the internal channel, then sterilize it in an autoclave, packed in a sterilization pouch. The product is fully autoclavable, so it withstands this protocol repeatedly. Keep the tips in sealed pouches until assembly — a tip removed from the pouch and unused must be re-sterilized.
How long do the tips last and when should they be replaced?▾
Being made of stainless steel, the tips are designed for long-term repeated use, with cleaning and autoclaving between sessions. You only replace them when visual inspection shows issues: a deformed or damaged opening, deep scratches inside the channel that disrupt ink flow or needle guidance. A quick check before each assembly tells you exactly when a tip needs to be retired — the rest of the set remains functional.
Does the set include needles or handles?▾
No, the set contains exclusively the 11 stainless steel tips. Bar needles are purchased separately, in configurations corresponding to the tip sizes you want to use, and the grip (handle) is also purchased separately if you don't already have one. Essentially, the tips in this kit complete an existing setup of machine + grip + bar needles.
