Guide & full description

Complete guide: Set of 5 Drawing Ink Dynamic Greywash 120ml

The Dynamic Greywash 120ml Set is a collection of 5 drawing inks signed by Dynamic, designed for artists working in black & grey style who need a consistent grey scale for sketches, illustrations, or design mockups — not for application on skin. The 5 bottles cover the entire tonal range, from mixing solution #00 to the darkest shade, #80, so you can build shading gradients directly on paper without having to dilute manually each time. The product comes sterile-packaged and is useful for anyone drawing references, mockups, or stencils, but who wants a professional quality ink for paper, not for tattooing.

How to use

Check the label of each bottle before starting — the set contains 5 shades: #00 (mixing solution), #20 (lightest, thin), #40 (smooth, light-mid tones), #60 (deep and silky, medium tones), and #80 (darkest, deep and full).
Gently shake each bottle before opening to homogenize any pigment settled at the bottom.
Pour only the necessary amount of each shade into clean, disposable containers/cups to avoid contaminating the source bottle.
Use #00 (mixing solution) if you need even lighter tones than #20, by further diluting the desired shade.
Work progressively, from the lightest shade to the darkest, to gradually build the shading gradient on your drawing.
Tightly close the caps immediately after pouring what you need, to prevent evaporation or contamination.
Never pour unused ink from the cup back into the original bottle — you risk contaminating the remaining stock.
Remember the product's purpose: it is drawing ink, not for application on skin or tattooing.

Tips from us

Keep the bottles tightly closed, away from direct light and heat, to maintain the ink's consistency over time.
Label your working containers (cups) with the shade number to avoid confusing tones while working.
Test the entire grey scale on a separate sheet before using it on the final work to see how the 5 tones transition between each other.
Use #00 to obtain additional intermediate tones between the 4 fixed shades if you need a finer scale.
Do not mix the inks from this set with other liquids or inks to avoid compromising the purity of the solution.
Store the set out of reach of children and animals.

Warning: Important: this product is DRAWING ink — the manufacturer explicitly states it is not intended for application on skin or tattooing, and any other use than the one mentioned is the sole responsibility of the buyer. When handling, follow general hygiene rules: use clean disposable cups/containers, do not contaminate the source bottle with already used ink, wash your hands before handling the bottles, and keep them away from children.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use this ink for tattooing on skin?▾

No. The manufacturer explicitly states that this ink is intended for drawing, not for application on skin or tattoos, and using it for any other purpose than the one mentioned is strictly the consumer's responsibility.

What do the 5 bottles in the set represent?▾

The set contains a complete greywash scale: #00 is the mixing solution (for further dilutions), and #20, #40, #60, and #80 are the four grey shades, from the lightest and thinnest (#20) to the darkest and fullest (#80).

How do I maintain the bottles so the ink lasts longer?▾

Keep the bottles tightly closed between uses, away from direct light and heat, and never pour unused ink from the cup back into the original bottle — you risk introducing contaminants into the entire stock.

What is the difference between shade #20 and #80?▾

#20 is the lightest and thinnest shade in the set, suitable for highlights and fine transitions, while #80 is the darkest and fullest, used for deep shadows of the drawing.

Do I need anything else to use the set?▾

Yes — clean disposable containers/cups to pour each shade (to avoid contaminating the source bottles), plus the drawing support you work on (paper or other suitable material for sketch/illustration).

Is the set suitable for a beginner artist?▾

Yes, having the scale already calibrated in 5 steps, you no longer need to manually dilute the ink each time to obtain grey gradients — especially useful when practicing shading on paper before applying the technique on another work surface.
