Complete guide: BRONC Pen Tattoo Machine Stand - Professional 90° Holder
A black metal alloy desktop stand that holds your pen-style tattoo machine vertically at 90° during breaks between passes. It protects your device from slipping and accidental falls and prevents direct contact with the work surface. Designed for artists who want an organized workstation, but equally useful if you're just setting up your first home studio.
How to use
- Unpack the stand and visually inspect it: the base must sit perfectly flat on the table without wobbling.
- Place it on your workstation, on the side of your working hand, at a safe distance from the edge of the table, so you can reach the machine without reaching over the work area.
- Before each client session, cover the stand with a disposable barrier film, just like the rest of the surfaces in the work area.
- Connect your pen machine as usual and leave enough slack in the cable so it doesn't pull on the machine when it's resting in the stand.
- During breaks between passes — when changing colors, wiping the area, or talking to the client — place the machine vertically in the stand, making sure the cartridge tip does not touch any non-sterile surface.
- At the end of the session, remove the cartridge and dispose of it according to procedure, then remove the protective film from the stand.
- Clean the stand with a surface disinfectant and let it dry before the next use.
Tips from us
- Always use a barrier film over the stand during work — it's much faster to change between clients than a full disinfection and reduces the risk of cross-contamination.
- Position the stand in the same spot on your station every time: the motion of placing and picking up the machine becomes reflex, and you won't have to look for the machine during the session.
- Periodically check that the machine slides in and out of the stand smoothly — if you force it, you risk tipping the stand or hitting the cartridge.
- Do not hang cables or other objects on the stand; it is designed to support only the machine, and extra weight can affect its stability.
- If you work at conventions or on the go, the compact stand is worth including in your travel kit — it instantly organizes any improvised work table.
Frequently asked questions
Will it fit my tattoo machine?▾
The stand has universal compatibility and is designed for most pen-style tattoo machines, i.e., devices with a cylindrical, pen-shaped body. If you use a classic coil machine or a rotary with a non-conventional format (not pen-style), this stand is not intended for them — check the shape of your device before ordering.
How do I clean and sanitize it properly?▾
Being made of metal alloy, it wipes clean easily with a common studio surface disinfectant. The recommended practice is to cover it with a barrier film for each client and disinfect it at the end of the day or whenever the film has been compromised. It does not require autoclave sterilization because it does not come into direct contact with the client's skin.
Can I leave the machine in the stand with the cartridge attached?▾
Yes, that's exactly what it's made for: during the session, you place the machine vertically in the stand between passes with the cartridge mounted, without the tip touching the work surface. It's important to remove the used cartridge after the session — never leave a used needle exposed in the work area.
Is it stable enough? Won't it tip over with the machine in it?▾
The stand is made of metal alloy, with the base and center of gravity designed for stability, even during intensive studio use. As with any stand, how you use it matters: place it on a flat surface and leave enough slack in the machine's cable so it doesn't pull the machine sideways.
I'm a beginner, I only tattoo at home — does it make sense for me?▾
Yes. The stand is suitable for both professional studios and personal use. At the start of your journey, it helps you form good habits: the machine has its fixed place, it's not lying on the table, and it won't risk falling — and a dropped pen machine on tile can mean an expensive repair.
What exactly do I receive and what color is it?▾
You receive the BRONC stand for pen-style machines, in black, made of metal alloy, with a compact design that blends discreetly into any studio. The tattoo machine is not included — it is only the stand.
