Guide & full description

Complete guide: Stainless Steel Flat Tips

The Flat Tip is the flat-opening grip used for fills and shading on extended areas of the skin. You choose it when you want a consistent ink flow and uniform coverage, without flow variations.

How to use

Choose the right size (5F, 7F, 9F, 11F, 13F or 15F) depending on the extent of the work area and the desired technique.
Fit the tip onto the machine grip, checking that the tube-grip system fastens correctly.
Make sure the needle or needle module is compatible and well centered in the flat opening of the tip.
Test the ink flow on a test surface before starting work on the skin.
Work with even movements, adjusting the machine speed to maintain a consistent ink flow.
After use, clean the tip according to the studio's hygiene protocol and sterilize it by autoclaving before reuse.

Tips from us

For large fill areas, a more generous size reduces the number of passes and helps achieve more even coverage.
Periodically check the condition of the tip to make sure the flat opening shows no wear or deformation that could affect ink flow.
Keep sterilized tips in individual, size-labeled packaging for quick and organized access during work.
Match the tip size with the type of needle used, for an optimal balance between flow and control of the fill line.

Warning: The tip must be sterilized by autoclaving in accordance with the studio's hygiene protocols before each use. Store it in clean, dry conditions to prevent contamination or damage to the material.

Frequently asked questions

Can the tip be reused?▾

Yes, being made from surgical stainless steel, the tip is autoclavable and can be reused after proper sterilization, in accordance with the studio's hygiene protocols.

How do I clean the tip after use?▾

Clean it immediately after use to prevent ink residue from drying, then sterilize it by autoclaving, following the studio's standard procedures.

What difference does the flat opening make compared to other tip shapes?▾

The flat opening provides a more consistent ink flow, ideal for even fills and shading on large surfaces, compared to tips with round or narrow openings.
