White is the color that decides how 'alive' a piece looks: it lifts highlights, opens up gradients, and brings out the contrast between black and the rest of the palette. Here we're talking about a professional white ink from Xtreme Ink, with high opacity, delivered in a 120 ml bottle — the format designed for studios that use white consistently and for artists who work a lot on highlights, blending, and large areas. The formula is vegan, cruelty-free, and compliant with European REACH regulations regarding substances allowed in tattoo inks. It is used directly from the bottle, without dilution.
How to use
- Prepare your workstation before opening the bottle: new gloves, disinfected surfaces covered with barrier, machine and clip cord wrapped in protective film. Everything you touch with the hand that pours the ink must be clean or protected.
- Shake the bottle well before each use. In white inks, the pigment settles over time at the bottom of the container, and homogenization is mandatory to achieve the same opacity from the first to the last session from the bottle. This is not about dilution — the product is used as is.
- Wipe the bottle mouth and cap with a disinfectant wipe before pouring, especially if the bottle has been opened before.
- Pour only the amount you need for the current session into disposable ink caps placed in a holder. Estimate realistically: what remains in the cap at the end is thrown away, it cannot be recovered.
- Never insert the needle, cartridge, spatula, or any other tool directly into the bottle. Contact between the used tool and the stock container is the most common way to contaminate an entire bottle.

- Keep a smaller 'working' bottle from which you pour at each session and use the 120 ml bottle strictly as a refill reserve in a clean area. This reduces the number of openings of the large container and the risk of contaminating the stock.
- White requires discipline with the needle: work with clean, dedicated needle configurations and groups, and wipe frequently. If you go into white with a needle that has been through black, you carry dark pigment into the highlight and the shade comes out dirty.
- Don't overwork the area to 'bring out' more white. If the opacity does not satisfy you after a correct pass, it's better to reassess depth, angle, and speed than to repeatedly go over the same area — overworked skin does not retain color better.
