You have before you a white pigment dedicated to fine work: thin white lines, eye highlights in portraits, delicate accents, and details that need to come out clean on the first pass. It is part of the Xtreme Ink collection, comes in a 30 ml bottle, and is designed for artists who work with detail and contrast, including on darker skin tones. How to use
- Shake the bottle well before each use. White pigments are among the heaviest and settle over time at the bottom of the bottle — if you don't homogenize, your opacity will vary from session to session.
- Disinfect the outside of the bottle and cover it with a protective barrier before bringing it into the clean station area. The bottle goes from session to session, so it is exactly the kind of surface that carries contamination.
- Pour only the amount you need into individual ink caps for a single client. Never insert the needle, a spatula, or any other tool into the bottle, and do not pour back what is left in the cap.
- Do not dilute the ink. The manufacturer's instruction is to use it directly from the bottle, without added shading solution or distilled water.
- Set up the appropriate needle configuration for fine line and detail — the product is formulated for such work. It works with all types of machines: coil, rotary, or pen.

- Aim for saturation on the first pass, not repeated passes over the same area. Excessive overworking traumatizes the skin unnecessarily and does not give you a better white.

Tips from us
- Keep a separate set of supplies 'just for white' — ink cap, wipe, maybe even a second machine if you do a lot of highlighting. White gets dirty instantly at the slightest contact with colored pigment and never comes back.
- On darker skin, white reads differently than on lighter skin. Discuss expectations with the client before the session and be conservative in promises regarding the final contrast.
- If you want intermediate shades, the manufacturer recommends mixing with other inks from the Xtreme range. Mix in the ink cap, never in the original bottle — otherwise you compromise the entire bottle.
- Record the batch number and date from the bottle in the client's file, along with the colors you used. This is good traceability practice and can save you if a complaint arises later.
- Do not leave the bottle in the car during summer or on a windowsill in direct sunlight. Heat and direct light are the fastest enemies of any ink, regardless of brand.
