Guide & full description
Complete guide: Xtreme Ink Magenta 30ml
This is a professional color tattoo ink in magenta shade — an intense tone between red and violet — supplied in a 30 ml bottle, from the Xtreme Ink range. It is designed for artists who work with color and need a saturated pigment for floral petals, abstract compositions, color-realism accents, and vibrant gradations. The formula is vegan, cruelty-free, and compliant with European REACH regulations regarding permissible substances in tattoo inks. It comes ready to use straight from the bottle, no dilution required, and is compatible with coil, rotary, and pen machines.
How to use
- Check the bottle before opening: the seal must be intact, the label legible, and the container free of cracks or leaks. Do not use a damaged bottle.
- Shake the bottle well for several tens of seconds. With any tattoo ink, pigment may settle over time, and homogenization is essential for consistent color from the first to the last drop.
- Prepare the workstation: covered surfaces, protective barriers on the machine, clip cord, and bottles, new gloves, disposable towel, and individual ink caps.
- Pour only the estimated amount for that session into disposable ink caps. Never insert the needle, grip, or any other tool directly into the bottle — this contaminates the entire contents.
- Use the ink straight from the bottle, no dilution. If you need intermediate tones, mix it with other inks from the same range in a separate cap, not in the original bottle.
- Do a quick test on synthetic skin to see how the shade behaves on your working background and how quickly it saturates — especially if you are placing it over or next to other colors.
- In the skin, aim for saturation from the first pass and avoid excessive reworking of the same area: fewer passes mean less trauma and, typically, cleaner healing.
- At the end, discard any leftover ink in the caps — do not pour it back into the bottle. Wipe the outside of the bottle, close the cap tightly, and store it at room temperature, away from direct light and heat.
Tips from us
- Shake the bottle before each use, not just at first opening. It is the simplest way to avoid differences in intensity between sessions.
- Being a tone between red and violet, magenta works well as a bridge between cool and warm areas of a palette — useful for petals, gradients, and accents that need to 'pop' from the composition.
- When creating custom shades by mixing with other inks from the same range, note your recipe (proportions, colors used). This way you can reproduce the exact tone at the touch-up session.
- Transfer the ink into small caps dedicated to each client. Besides hygiene, it also gives you better control over the amount used.
- Keep track of opened bottles and used batches. In a professional studio, traceability of consumables helps both with restocking and in case of a complaint.
- Store the bottle upright at room temperature, away from windows and heat sources — large temperature variations are not good for any pigment.
Frequently asked questions
What kind of work is this magenta suitable for?▾
It is formulated for bold color work: floral petals, abstract designs, color-realism accents, and vibrant gradations. Being an intense tone between red and violet, it is often used as a contrast point in a palette or as a link between warm and cool areas of a composition.
Does it need to be diluted or mixed before use?▾
No. The product is ready to use straight from the bottle, with pre-dispersed pigments, and does not require dilution. The only mandatory thing before each session is to shake the bottle well so that the pigment is homogeneous. If you want intermediate tones, mix in a separate cap, not in the bottle.
Can it be mixed with other inks?▾
Yes, it can be mixed with other inks from the Xtreme range to obtain intermediate shades, and compatibility within the same range makes mixes predictable. If you want to combine it with inks from another manufacturer, first do a test on synthetic skin and check the homogeneity and behavior upon application — do not mix 'live', directly on the client.
What tattoo machines does it work with?▾
It is compatible with all types of machines: coil, rotary, and pen. The consistency allows a constant flow, regardless of the configuration used, and the product does not require special adjustments to switch from one machine type to another.
How do I store it and avoid contaminating the bottle?▾
Keep it at room temperature, away from direct light and excessive heat, with the cap tightly closed after each use. The hygiene rule is simple: the bottle never comes into contact with the needle, grip, or the gloved hand used for work. Pour into disposable caps only as much as you need, and what remains is discarded at the end of the session — do not pour back.
Is it vegan and compliant with European standards?▾
Yes. The formula is vegan and produced cruelty-free, with no animal-derived ingredients and no animal testing. The composition complies with REACH regulations regarding permitted substances in tattoo inks, i.e., the European safety standard applicable to this category of products.
