It is the lightest shade in the Xtreme opaque grey scale, supplied in a 30 ml bottle and ready to use straight from the bottle, no dilution needed. It is aimed at artists working in black & grey who need an ultra-light grey with consistent opacity for subtle highlights, smooth transitions, light smoke effects, and grey-wash base tones. Unlike a grey improvised by diluting black, here the shade is factory-measured, so the result is repeatable from one session to another. The formula is vegan, cruelty-free, and REACH compliant.
How to use
- Prepare the station before opening the bottle: new gloves, protective barriers on the machine, clip cord, bottles and work surface, plus disposable ink caps in a holder.
- Shake the bottle well before each pour. Pigments settle over time, and a short, vigorous shake restores the mixture to a homogeneous consistency.
- Wipe the bottle mouth with a clean tissue, then pour the ink directly into the cap. No dilution or mixing needed — the product is used as is.
- If you want an intermediate shade, mix with other inks from the Xtreme range, but make the mixture in a separate cap, never in the bottle.
- Do a quick test of flow and shade on synthetic skin or a small area, to see how the grey lays down with your needle configuration and hand speed.
- Work in light, even passes. The ink gives good saturation from the first pass, so don't unnecessarily insist on the same area — you reduce skin trauma and shorten the session.
- Never insert the needle or machine tip into the bottle and do not pour leftover ink from the cap back. What remains in the cap is discarded at the end of the session.
- After use, clean the bottle mouth, close the lid tightly, and store at room temperature, away from direct light and excessive heat.
