Guide & full description
Complete guide: Xtreme Ink Raspberry 30ml
It is a professional tattoo ink from the Xtreme Ink collection, in a red-pink shade with berry tones, delivered in a 30 ml bottle. It is aimed at artists working on floral, botanical or feminine pieces and need a warm red, sweeter than a classic red, good for both accents and color shading. The formula is vegan, cruelty-free and compliant with European REACH regulations on substances allowed in tattoo inks. It comes ready to use straight from the bottle, no mixing or thinning needed, and is compatible with coil, rotary and pen machines.
How to use
- Before the session, check the bottle: intact seal, legible label, batch number and expiration date. A damaged or expired bottle is not used.
- Shake the bottle well before pouring, so the pigment is evenly distributed throughout the content.
- Pour only the estimated amount for the work into disposable cups (caps) on the work surface already covered with barrier film.
- Never insert the needle, grip or other instruments directly into the bottle — contamination of the bottle compromises all the content.
- Use the ink as is, without dilution. If you need an intermediate shade, mix it in a cup with other inks from the Xtreme range, not in the original bottle.
- Work in light passes and check saturation after the first pass; being an ink with pre-dispersed pigments, often it is not necessary to repeatedly go over the same area.
- At the end, discard the cups and any remaining ink in them — poured ink is never returned to the bottle.
- Wipe the outside of the bottle, close the cap tightly and store at room temperature, away from direct light and heat.
Tips from us
- Make your own swatch on synthetic skin and, ideally, a healed photo on a client — so you know exactly how the shade reads on different skin types, not just how it looks freshly applied.
- For gradients in a floral piece, mix it in a cup with other inks from the Xtreme range and note the proportions, so you can reproduce the shade at touch-up sessions.
- Note the batch number from the label in the client's file. It is the simplest form of traceability if questions arise later about the product used.
- Pour a little and more often, instead of a full cup 'to be safe'. You reduce waste and avoid the temptation to keep poured ink from one client to another.
- A 30 ml bottle makes sense if you use the shade consistently; if you rarely use it in works, a smaller stock helps you stay within the expiration date.
- Keep the bottle away from heat sources in the studio (lamp, radiator) — repeated exposure to heat and light does not help any ink.
Frequently asked questions
What kind of red is it, exactly, and in what works do I use it?▾
It is a red-pink with berry tones — warmer and 'sweeter' than a pure red, but deeper than a simple pink. It lends itself to fruity accents, floral shading, botanical pieces and feminine designs, where you need a warm note without jumping straight into an intense red. You can also use it as a transition tone between red and pink in a gradient.
Does it need to be diluted or mixed before use?▾
No. It is ready to use straight from the bottle, without dilution or prior mixing. The only thing needed is to shake the bottle well before pouring, so the pigment is uniform. Mixing with other colors remains optional, only if you want an intermediate shade.
Does it work with my machine? I have a pen, not a coil.▾
Yes. The manufacturer indicates it as compatible with all types of tattoo machines — coil, rotary and pen. The consistency allows a constant flow regardless of configuration. As with any new ink, a short test on synthetic skin is worth it to adjust your speed and working depth with your usual setup.
How do I store it properly between sessions and how long does an open bottle last?▾
At room temperature, away from direct light and heat, with the cap tightly closed and the outside of the bottle wiped after each use. The most important thing for the bottle's lifespan is not to contaminate it: always pour into disposable cups and do not introduce needles or other instruments into the bottle. The expiration date is on the product label — respect it as such, regardless of how much ink remains.
Can it be mixed with other inks to get custom shades?▾
Yes, it can be mixed with other inks from the Xtreme range for intermediate shades. Do the mixing in a cup, never in the original bottle, and note the proportions if you want to reproduce the color at a touch-up. For mixes between different brands, test first on synthetic skin — you have no guarantee of identical behavior.
Is it vegan and compliant with European standards?▾
Yes. The formula is vegan, cruelty-free production, and the composition complies with European REACH regulations regarding substances allowed in tattoo inks. On tatuat.ro the product comes from an authorized channel, so you get an original bottle with visible label and batch — useful both for health controls and for your own records.
