Guide & full description
Complete guide: Microblading needle 11U 0.25mm
This is a professional microblading needle (blade) with an 11U configuration, meaning 11 needles arranged in an arc on a stainless steel support, with a diameter of 0.25mm. The curved shape mimics the natural eyebrow hair, designed for the hair stroke technique. It is a sterile, single-use consumable intended exclusively for PMU artists working under sterile conditions. The blade is mounted on a microblading pen.
How to use
- Check the integrity of the blister, the sterility indicator, and the expiration date. Open the packaging only at the time of the procedure, preferably in front of the client.
- Fix the blade into the universal microblading pen holder and ensure it is aligned and securely attached.
- Prepare and disinfect the work area, then perform eyebrow mapping before starting the incisions.
- Hold the pen at a small angle to the skin (approximately 15-30°) and apply pigment to the work area.
- Execute short, decisive movements in the natural direction of hair growth, maintaining constant and even pressure for consistent strokes.
- Do not repeat passes over the same incision; reload pigment on the blade when needed.
- When the quality of incisions begins to decline, replace the blade with a new one.
- After the procedure, immediately discard the blade in a special sharps/medical waste container.
Tips from us
- Maintain constant and even pressure throughout each pass — this results in consistent, natural hair strokes.
- Use a medium-consistency pigment that flows well through the fine incisions; overly thick pigments can be diluted with a medium recommended by the pigment manufacturer.
- A single clean pass per hair stroke minimizes skin trauma and client discomfort — avoid reworking the same line.
- For touch-up sessions, use the same type of blade as in the initial procedure for consistent results.
- Store sealed blades at room temperature, away from humidity and direct light, until use.
Frequently asked questions
What does the "11U" configuration mean and what is it suitable for?▾
"11U" indicates 11 needles arranged in an arc (U-shape, curved) on a stainless steel support. The curvature mimics the natural hair shaft of the eyebrow, making it suitable for the hair stroke technique — from a natural and delicate look to more defined eyebrows. It is a balanced configuration, appreciated by artists at all levels for its maneuverability and predictable results.
Which pen is this needle compatible with?▾
The blade is designed for universal microblading pens, including the Microblading Pen. Before the procedure, securely fix the blade into the pen holder and check that it is aligned and stable. If using a pen with a special clamping system, confirm in its specifications that it accepts blades of this type.
Can the needle be reused or re-sterilized?▾
No. It is a sterile consumable, strictly single-use, intended for one client only. Dispose of it immediately after the procedure in a special sharps/medical waste container. Do not re-sterilize or reuse it: sterility can no longer be guaranteed and the risk of contamination increases.
What skin types is the 0.25mm diameter suitable for?▾
The 0.25mm diameter provides stable penetration and consistent pigment deposition, working well on most skin types. For very thin or sensitive skin, some artists prefer a blade with finer needles. Choose according to the client's skin texture and the desired eyebrow style.
What type of pigment works with this needle?▾
It is compatible with professional micropigmentation pigments. A medium consistency is recommended, flowing well through the incisions created by the 0.25mm needles. Overly thick pigments can be diluted with a dilution medium recommended by the pigment manufacturer.
How do I verify that the needle is sterile and ready to use?▾
Each blade comes sterilized by gamma irradiation and sealed in a blister with a sterility indicator, ready for immediate use upon opening — no additional sterilization required. Check the integrity of the packaging, the sterility indicator, and the expiration date, and open the blister only at the time of the procedure, preferably in front of the client.
