Guide & full description

Complete guide: Microblading needle 16F 0.25mm

This is a professional precision microblading needle with 16 micro-blades arranged in a single straight, horizontal row (Flat configuration), each blade having a diameter of 0.25 mm. Being the widest configuration in the range, it offers a wide working line, suitable for quick and complete eyebrow fills. It is made of surgical stainless steel, supplied sterile and individually packaged, disposable. It is intended for micropigmentation artists, both beginners and experienced.

How to use

  1. Before opening, check the integrity of the sealed envelope and the expiration date. If the packaging is damaged or unsealed, do not use the needle.
  2. Work in a clean, disinfected field, with disposable gloves. Open the sterile envelope just before use to maintain sterility.
  3. Secure the needle in the microblading pen/holder (compatible with standard holders, including the Microblading Pen), until it sits firmly. The colored holder helps you quickly identify the configuration.
  4. Prepare and map the eyebrow shape on the client, according to your working technique, before starting to draw the hair strokes.
  5. Load the blades with pigment: it is retained between the blades by capillary action. With 16 blades, the needle holds a generous amount and reduces the frequency of reloading.
  6. Draw the lines maintaining a uniform and controlled pressure; the 16F configuration gives you a very wide line, ideal for fills and extensive areas.
  7. Reload pigment as needed throughout the procedure, for a consistent deposit.
  8. At the end, remove the needle and dispose of it immediately in a sharps container. Do not reuse or resterilize it.

Tips from us

  • Test the sharpness and behavior of the needle on artificial practice skin before working on a client, especially if it's a configuration you rarely use.
  • Use 16F for wide coverage and quick fills, but combine it with narrower configurations for details and tips — many artists use 2-3 configurations in the same procedure.
  • The 0.25 mm diameter is the universal standard and works on most skin types; for very thin or sensitive skin you can opt for a smaller diameter (0.20 mm).
  • Keep an adequate stock of needles: each procedure requires at least one new needle, and a consistent stock avoids interruptions in your schedule.
  • Take advantage of the colored holder to organize your needles by configuration and find them quickly during the session.
Warning: Sterile product, single use. Use a new needle for each procedure and for each client — do not reuse or resterilize it. Always check the integrity of the sealed packaging and expiration date before use; sterility is guaranteed only as long as the envelope remains intact. Work with gloves, in a clean field, and at the end dispose of the needle in a dedicated sharps container.

Frequently asked questions

What does the 16F configuration mean?

16F means the needle has 16 micro-blades arranged in a single straight, horizontal row (Flat). This arrangement gives you a very wide working line, suitable for drawing parallel lines that mimic natural hair strokes and for quick fills.

For what skin type is the 0.25 mm diameter suitable?

The 0.25 mm diameter is the universal standard in microblading and works well on most skin types, including thicker skin. For very thin or sensitive skin you can choose a smaller diameter, 0.20 mm.

With which pen or holder is it compatible?

The needle is compatible with standard microblading pens and holders, including the Microblading Pen. It is secured in the holder until it sits firmly, and the colored holder helps you quickly identify the configuration.

Is the needle sterile and how do I check this?

Yes, each needle is sterilized at the factory and individually packaged in a sealed envelope. Before use, check the integrity of the packaging and the expiration date; if the envelope is damaged or unsealed, sterility is no longer guaranteed and the needle should not be used.

Can the needle be reused?

No. It is a single-use product. For hygiene and safety reasons, use a new needle for each procedure and for each client, then dispose of it immediately in a sharps container. Do not resterilize it for reuse.

How do I choose between the different F configurations?

The choice depends on the working area and technique: configurations with fewer blades (e.g., 7F) are for fine details and tips, medium ones (9-14F) for versatility and medium coverage, and 16-18F for wide coverage. 16F is the most extensive in the range, ideal for fills and large surfaces.

Product description

It can be used with the Microblading Pen- the size of the needle is 0.25mm- made of stainless steel-sterile packaged- disposable product The Microblading Needle 16F 0.25mm is a professional precision instrument for microblading procedures, equipped with 16 micro-blades arranged in a Flat (linear) configuration, each with a 0.25mm diameter. The 16F (16 Flat) configuration positions the 16 blades in a straight, horizontal row, offering a foarte lata working line that enables efficient and precise hair stroke creation. The 0.25mm diameter of each blade is the industry standard for microblading, producing clear and well-defined lines that naturally mimic eyebrow hair strands. The blades are made from high-quality surgical stainless steel, laser-sharpened to ensure uniform and controlled penetration of the superficial skin layer, minimizing skin trauma and promoting rapid healing. The needle handle features a colored support for quick configuration identification, facilitating efficient organization during work sessions. The needle is sterile, individually packaged in a sealed pouch, and intended exclusively for single use, meeting international hygiene standards for micropigmentation procedures. The 16F configuration is valued by microblading artists for its versatility and the working line width it offers, allowing technique adaptation to different eyebrow shapes and sizes. The superior quality surgical steel ensures blades maintain their sharpness throughout the procedure, producing consistent and professional results from the first to the last line. Compatible with all standard microblading pens and holders. Recommended for both experienced artists and those at the beginning of their micropigmentation career. Frequently Asked Questions What does the 16F configuration mean? The 16F configuration means the needle has 16 micro-blades arranged in a straight horizontal row (Flat). This configuration offers a foarte lata working line, allowing drawing of parallel lines that mimic natural eyebrow hair strands. What techniques is the 16F needle suitable for? The 16F needle is suitable for hair stroke microblading technique, filling sparse areas, and creating natural-looking eyebrows. The foarte lata working line makes it versatile for different eyebrow styles and shapes. What skin type is most suitable? The 0.25mm needle is suitable for all skin types, being the universal standard in microblading. It works excellently on normal, combination, and even thicker skin. For very fine or sensitive skin, the 0.20mm diameter may be preferred. Is the needle sterile from the factory? Yes, each needle is pre-sterilized through industrial methods and individually packaged in a sealed pouch. Sterility is guaranteed as long as the packaging remains intact. Check packaging integrity and expiration date before use. How do I choose between different F configurations? The choice depends on the work area and technique: 7F for fine details and tips, 9-10F for versatility, 11-14F for medium coverage, 16-18F for wide coverage. Many artists use 2-3 different configurations in the same procedure. How much pigment does the needle retain? The surgical steel blades retain an optimal amount of pigment between them through capillarity. The number of blades influences the pigment quantity: more blades retain more pigment, reducing reloading frequency during the procedure. Can the needle be used for other procedures? Microblading needles are specifically designed for eyebrow microblading procedures. They are not recommended for traditional tattoos or other cosmetic procedures. Always use the appropriate instrument for the specific procedure. How do I check needle quality before use? Check the sealed packaging integrity, expiration date, and blade appearance (should be straight, aligned, and without visible defects). Test sharpness on artificial practice skin before client use. How many needles should I keep in stock? A stock of at least 50-100 needles in the most used configurations is recommended. Each procedure requires at least one new needle. Maintaining adequate stock prevents work schedule interruptions and ensures constant availability. Are there quality differences between configurations? No, all configurations in the range are made from the same high-quality surgical steel and benefit from the same manufacturing precision. The difference is exclusively in the number of blades and working line width, not in material quality.
