Guide & full description

Complete guide: Microblading needle 20U 0.25mm

The 20U 0.25mm needle is a microblading blade with 20 needles of 0.25 mm arranged in a curved arc (U configuration), mounted on a surgical stainless steel handle. It is designed for experienced PMU artists who work with the hair stroke technique and need large coverage in a single pass — from bold microblading to complete eyebrow reconstructions. As a sterile, disposable consumable, it is used for a single client and discarded after the procedure.

How to use

  1. Before opening the blister, check the sterility indicator and the integrity of the packaging. If the foil is damaged or the indicator signals a problem, do not use the needle.
  2. Open the blister in a clean, disinfected workspace, then firmly attach the blade to a compatible pen (Microblading Pen or a universal pen).
  3. First, perform the mapping and eyebrow drawing on the skin, as a guide for the direction and length of the strokes.
  4. Load the pigment by dipping the tip of the blade, so that all 20 needles are evenly covered.
  5. Perform hair stroke incisions following the natural hair growth direction, with moderate, constant pressure distributed across the entire width of the arc.
  6. Reload pigment and wipe off excess periodically; check the uniformity of the strokes as you progress.
  7. At the end, dispose of the blade in a sharps/contaminated medical waste container — do not reuse or attempt to resterilize it.

Tips from us

  • The arc is very wide, and the 20 needles contact the skin simultaneously — even light pressure may be enough. Start with light pressure and increase it gradually.
  • Practice on artificial skin before working on a client; uniform control on such a wide arc requires training.
  • Prefer pigments with a fluid consistency that distribute evenly through all 20 incisions; overly dense pigments can leave uneven buildup on the wide arc.
  • Choose the U configuration for curved, natural strokes (hair stroke); for shading or even fills, a straight (F) configuration is more suitable.
  • Always have at least one spare blade ready, especially for complex procedures.
  • Being one of the widest U blades, it is ideal for quick coverage on large areas; for fine details, such as the tail of the eyebrow, a narrower blade may offer more control.
Warning: This is a sterile consumable, strictly for single use: it is used for one client, and reuse or resterilization is prohibited for hygiene and safety reasons. Always check the sterility indicator and the integrity of the blister before use. After the procedure, dispose of the blade in a dedicated sharps medical waste container. The product is intended for professional use only.

Frequently asked questions

What level of experience does the 20U needle require?

This is an expert-level blade. The very wide arc, with 20 needles, requires precise control to achieve uniform, natural strokes. The manufacturer recommends use by artists with at least 2-3 years of active microblading practice, and practice on artificial skin remains essential.

Which pen is this needle compatible with?

It mounts on universal microblading pens, as well as on the Microblading Pen. Ensure the blade is firmly fixed in the holder before starting.

What is the difference between 20U and 20F?

The needle configuration differs: in 20U the needles are arranged in an arc (curved), for natural curved hair strokes — the hair stroke technique; in 20F the needles are in a straight line (flat), for shading and even fills. Both have 20 needles of 0.25 mm.

Can I reuse the blade for multiple clients?

No. The blade is strictly single-use: it is used for one client and discarded after the procedure, in containers for contaminated medical waste. Reuse and resterilization are prohibited for hygiene reasons.

What pigments can it be used with?

It is compatible with professional micropigmentation pigments. Pigments with a fluid consistency are recommended, as they distribute evenly through all 20 incisions made simultaneously; very dense pigments can cause uneven buildup.

How many blades do I need for a procedure?

Due to the very wide coverage, usually a single 20U blade is sufficient for both eyebrows. For complex reconstructions, two may be needed. Regardless, it's good to always have a spare blade ready.

Product description

It can be used with the Microblading Pen- the size of the needle is 0.25mm- made of stainless steel-sterile packaged- disposable product The 20U 0.25mm microblading blade is a professional U-configuration (curved) needle composed of 20 pins with a standard diameter of 0.25mm, arranged in an extended arc on a surgical stainless steel holder. The 20U configuration belongs to the extra-large U blade category, being one of the widest available on the market for hair stroke technique. The 20 pins arranged in a broad arc create hair strokes with maximum width and length, providing impressive coverage in a single pass. This blade is designed for expert-level PMU artists working bold microblading techniques or complete eyebrow reconstructions where rapid coverage of extensive areas is needed. The 0.25mm diameter ensures stable penetration and generous pigment deposit across the full width of the extended arc. The exceptional efficiency of the 20U blade significantly reduces the total number of incisions needed and procedure time, benefiting both client comfort and post-procedure healing. The configuration can also be used for advanced combination techniques where bold hair strokes are integrated with shading for a complex dimensional result. Each pin is sharpened through a multi-stage precision grinding process. The rigid surgical steel holder maintains geometric stability throughout the entire procedure. Individually sterilized via gamma irradiation with sterility indicator on sealed blister packaging. Compatible with universal pens. A single-use consumable intended exclusively for advanced professional use. Frequently Asked Questions What makes the 20U one of the widest in the U range? With 20 pins arranged in an extended arc, the 20U blade creates hair strokes with maximum width and length. It is one of the widest U configurations available, providing impressive coverage in a single pass. Only the 21U configuration exceeds it in pin count. Is the 20U blade suitable for total eyebrow reconstruction? Yes, the 20U is one of the most efficient options for total eyebrow reconstruction. The wide coverage allows rapid filling of extensive hairless areas, reducing the total number of passes needed. It is recommended for alopecia cases or post-chemotherapy hair loss. What experience level does the 20U blade require? The 20U blade requires expert-level microblading experience. The very wide arc with 20 pins needs precise control and extensive experience to create uniform, natural hair strokes. It is recommended only for artists with at least 2-3 years of active microblading practice. Does the 20U blade reduce the number of incisions needed? Yes, significantly. Due to the extensive coverage, each pass of the 20U blade equals multiple passes of a smaller blade. This reduces the total incision count, shortens the procedure, and minimizes cumulative skin trauma, promoting rapid healing. How is pressure controlled with the 20U blade? Pressure with the 20U blade must be distributed evenly across the full arc width. Moderate, consistent pressure is recommended without forcing penetration. Since all 20 pins contact the skin simultaneously, even light pressure can be sufficient. Practice on artificial skin is essential. Is the 20U blade compatible with all pigments? Yes, the 20U blade is compatible with all professional micropigmentation pigments. Fluid-consistency pigments that distribute evenly through all 20 simultaneously created incisions are recommended. Overly dense pigments may cause uneven accumulation across the wide arc. Is the 20U blade sterilized? Yes, each 20U blade is individually sterilized via medical-grade gamma irradiation and packed in a sealed blister with sterility indicator. No additional preparation is needed before use other than checking the sterility indicator and packaging integrity. What is the difference between 20U and 20F? The fundamental difference is configuration: 20U has pins arranged in an arc (curved), creating naturally curved hair strokes. 20F has pins in a straight line (flat), designed for shading and uniform fills. 20U = hair stroke, 20F = shading. Both have 20 pins at 0.25mm. How many 20U blades are needed per procedure? Due to the very wide coverage, usually 1 20U blade is sufficient for a complete procedure on both eyebrows. In complex reconstruction cases, 2 blades may be needed. Having at least one spare blade ready is always recommended. Is the 20U blade single-use? Yes, the 20U 0.25mm blade is strictly single-use. It is used for one client only and disposed of after the procedure in contaminated medical waste containers. Reuse is prohibited for safety and hygiene reasons according to sanitary regulations.
