Guide & full description
Complete guide: Microblading needle 21F 0.25mm
This is a professional blade with a 21F flat configuration: 21 fine needles, each with a diameter of 0.25 mm, aligned in a straight line on a stainless steel support. As the widest flat variant in the range, it offers extensive coverage in a single pass and is designed for shading techniques on eyebrows, such as powder brows and ombre brows. It is intended for PMU artists working in authorized professional environments. It comes individually packaged sterile and is a single-use product.
How to use
- Before opening, check the integrity of the blister packaging and the visual sterilization indicator; do not use the needle if the packaging is damaged, wet, or opened.
- Open the sterile pouch only at the time of the procedure, with clean gloves, and avoid touching the blade.
- Secure the needle in the microblading pen (handle) with a universal grip and ensure it is firmly attached and perfectly aligned.
- If your handle has an adjustment feature, set the blade exposure according to your tool's instructions, then check the alignment of the 21 needles.
- Stretch the skin well in the working area and apply the pigment using shading movements, distributing pressure evenly across the entire width of the blade.
- For an ombre effect, vary the pressure along the eyebrow: lighter at the head, gradually increasing toward the tail for a natural gradient.
- When finished, immediately dispose of the needle in a designated sharps medical waste container, in accordance with health regulations.
Tips from us
- As the widest flat blade (21 needles), it is suitable for quick coverage and even pigment distribution over larger areas; for fine details, use a narrower configuration.
- Always work on well-stretched skin so the needles penetrate evenly and to avoid irregular lines.
- Test the pressure on a small area at the beginning of the procedure — due to the high number of needles, the force is distributed over a wider surface.
- Keep the needles sealed in a dry place, protected from moisture, and check the expiration date before use.
- Use a single needle per client, even if it appears unused, and open it only in front of the client.
Frequently asked questions
What does the 21F configuration mean?▾
"21" refers to the number of needles, and "F" to the flat arrangement of these needles, arranged in a straight line. Essentially, it is a blade with 21 fine needles aligned — the widest flat variant in the range, offering maximum coverage in a single movement, ideal for shading techniques.
Which microblading pens is it compatible with?▾
It is compatible with microblading pens and holders that have a standard universal grip. The metal support has standardized dimensions that fit into the fixing mechanisms of the most commonly used manual microblading tools.
What is the difference between 20F and 21F?▾
The main difference is the number of needles: 20F has 20 needles, while 21F has 21. The additional needle offers slightly wider coverage and even more uniform pigment distribution. Both have the same 0.25 mm diameter per needle, and the choice depends on the artist's preference and the working surface.
What type of eyebrows is it recommended for?▾
It is especially recommended for eyebrows that require a powdered makeup look, ombre gradient, or uniform filling — a more defined and intense result, similar to daily makeup applied with eyebrow powder or pomade.
Can it be reused or re-sterilized?▾
No. It is a single-use consumable, individually sterile packaged. It is used for one client only and disposed of immediately after the procedure in special medical waste containers, in accordance with sanitary standards for micropigmentation studios.
How is the ombre effect achieved with this blade?▾
The ombre effect is achieved by varying the pressure applied along the eyebrow: start with light pressure at the head for a lighter tone, and gradually increase toward the tail for a more intense color. The technique requires experience and precise control.
