Guide & full description
Complete guide: Microblading needle 7F 0.25mm
This microblading needle has 7 micro-blades arranged in a Flat (linear) configuration, each with a diameter of 0.25mm, and is designed for drawing fine, controlled lines that mimic natural eyebrow hairs. Being one of the most compact configurations, it works on a narrow width and offers maximum control on each line — which is why it is preferred for details, outlines, and delicate areas like the tail of the eyebrow. It is made of stainless steel, individually sterile packaged, and intended exclusively for single use. It is aimed at microblading / PMU artists, but the 0.25mm diameter makes it an accessible choice for beginners as well.
How to use
- Check the integrity of the sterile packaging before use; if the packaging is unsealed or damaged, do not use the needle.
- Open the sterile packaging without touching the blades with your fingers, to maintain sterility.
- Attach the needle to the microblading pen handle according to the pen manufacturer's instructions and verify a secure grip before starting.
- Load the blades with pigment, then draw the hairs in the direction of natural hair growth, using the compact 7F configuration for fine details and precise outlines.
- Maintain a superficial penetration, only at the epidermis level (approximately 0.1-0.3mm); too deep penetration can cause scarring and pigment diffusion.
- Keep a controlled and steady pressure — 0.25mm is more tolerant of pressure variations, but control remains essential for clean lines.
- Use 7F especially for the tip/tail of the eyebrow, transition areas, and touch-ups, where wider configurations become impractical.
- After the procedure, dispose of the needle in a special sharps container.
Tips from us
- Use a new needle for each client — the needle is single-use and never reused.
- Usually, one 7F needle is enough for a complete procedure on one client; if you feel the blades have lost their sharpness, replace it.
- Choose 7F when you need fine individual lines and control on small or delicate areas; for larger surfaces, a wider configuration is more practical.
- The white handle helps quickly identify the configuration when you have multiple needles on the table.
- Do not touch the blades with your fingers before use, to avoid compromising sterility and dulling the sharpness.
- If you are a beginner, first practice pressure and angle on artificial skin before working on a client.
Frequently asked questions
What is the 7F needle ideal for?▾
It is ideal for fine details, outlines, the tip (tail) of the eyebrow, and touch-ups. The 7 blades arranged compactly provide a narrow working line and maximum control for precise individual hairs, making it perfect for small or delicate areas where wider configurations do not fit.
What difference does the 0.25mm diameter make compared to 0.20mm?▾
The 0.25mm diameter produces slightly thicker and more visible lines than 0.20mm, is easier to control, and more tolerant of pressure variations — which is why it is considered the universal standard in microblading. The 0.20mm needle produces ultra-fine lines for a more delicate effect.
Is it suitable for beginners?▾
Yes. The compact configuration offers precise control, and the 0.25mm diameter is more tolerant of pressure variations, which helps in learning the technique with clear, controllable lines. The general recommendation remains to practice on artificial skin first.
Which pens is it compatible with?▾
It is compatible with all standard microblading pens and handles. The universal mounting system ensures a secure fit without additional adapters, so you can use it with the usual professional equipment on the market.
Can the needle be reused from one client to another?▾
No. The needle is sterile and single-use, intended for one client only. Usually, one 7F needle is enough for a complete procedure; if you feel its sharpness diminish during work, replace it. Reuse between clients is not allowed.
How should the needle be disposed of after use?▾
It is placed in a special sharps container, according to local regulations, not in household waste. Studios must follow protocols for disposing of sharp medical waste.
