Guide & full description
Complete guide: Ace Microblading 7U 0.18mm
The 7U 0.18mm microblading needle is a professional blade with a U configuration (curved), consisting of 7 nano needles mounted on a surgical stainless steel handle. It is designed for the hair stroke technique — creating individual, hyper-realistic hair strokes on eyebrows. The 0.18mm diameter places it in the nano blade category, the finest available, recommended especially for thin and sensitive skin. It is used by mounting it in a universal microblading pen and comes sterile, individually packaged, for a single procedure.
How to use
- Check the integrity of the blister packaging and the sterility indicator before opening it; if it appears damaged or compromised, do not use the needle.
- Open the packaging immediately before the procedure, with sanitized hands and clean gloves.
- Mount the 7U 0.18mm needle into the universal microblading pen, ensuring it is securely attached.
- Test the movement and pressure on a practice surface before working on the client, to calibrate your technique for this fine diameter.
- Work with short, controlled movements, following the natural contour of the eyebrow, to create individual hair strokes (hair stroke technique).
- Maintain a constant angle and pressure throughout the procedure, adapting the movement to the curvature created by the 7 needles arranged in an arc.
- If the blade no longer penetrates smoothly or creates irregular incisions, replace it immediately with a new needle.
- After completing the procedure on a client, dispose of the needle according to health regulations for sharps medical waste — do not reuse it.
Tips from us
- Prepare multiple 7U needles for each session, in case one loses its sharpness during the procedure.
- The nano diameter of 0.18mm requires a steady hand and constant pressure; if you are a beginner, you can practice first on artificial skin.
- For normal or thicker skin, where you want firmer penetration and greater pigment deposition, you may consider a larger diameter (e.g. 0.25mm) instead of the nano needle.
- The needle is compatible with professional micropigmentation pigments; due to the fine diameter, pigments with a more fluid consistency are more easily transported through the incision.
- Store the sterile needles in a dry place, away from moisture and direct light, until the moment of use, to avoid compromising the packaging.
- Always check the batch and sterility indicator on the blister before opening the packaging.
Frequently asked questions
What does 'nano' mean for this microblading needle?▾
'Nano' refers to the ultra-fine diameter of the needles — 0.18mm, 28% thinner than the standard 0.25mm. The reduced diameter allows finer, more precise incisions, suitable for natural-looking, delicate hair strokes.
What does the '7U' configuration mean?▾
The U configuration means the 7 needles are arranged in an arc shape, not in a straight line. This shape follows the natural curvature of a hair strand and adapts to the eyebrow contour, being designed for the hair stroke technique (individual strokes), as opposed to flat configurations, used more for shading.
What equipment is this needle used with?▾
The 7U 0.18mm needle is compatible with universal microblading pens — it is mounted in the pen just before the procedure. It comes individually packaged and sterilized by gamma irradiation, with a sterility indicator on the blister, and is a single-use disposable.
For what skin type is the 0.18mm diameter recommended?▾
The nano diameter of 0.18mm is recommended especially for thin and sensitive skin, where gentle penetration reduces tissue trauma. For normal or thicker skin, a larger diameter (e.g. 0.25mm) can be considered, which deposits more pigment through firmer penetration — the choice depends on the client's skin type and the artist's technique.
Can the needle be resterilized or reused?▾
No. It is a sterile, single-use product, intended for a single procedure on a single client. After use, it is disposed of according to health regulations for sharps medical waste; it is not resterilized or reused, no matter how well it seems to have held up.
Who can use this product?▾
It is intended exclusively for professional use by trained/certified PMU (micropigmentation) artists in the microblading technique. It is not a product for home use or for individuals without specific training in the field.
