Guide & full description
Complete guide: Pro Wrap 2.5cm x 4.5m Pink
This is a self-adherent cohesive bandage in pink, 2,5 cm wide and 4,5 m long, used in tattoo and micropigmentation studios for protecting the artist's fingers, wrapping the machine grip, and securing dressings on small areas. The material is 95% non-woven (PPSB) and 5% spandex, with a maximum stretch ratio of 150%, and it adheres only to itself — it does not stick to skin, hair, or gloves. It is a single-use consumable, latex-free, suitable for both tattoo artists and PMU technicians.
How to use
- Wash your hands and put on gloves before handling the roll, especially if you are using it in the work area.
- Unroll the length you need and tear or cut it — no clips or additional adhesive are needed.
- For wrapping the grip: apply the bandage over the grip (over the protective barrier, if you use one), wrapping in a spiral with about half-width overlap and with gentle, constant tension.
- For finger protection during long sessions: wrap 2-3 layers over the stressed areas, under gloves — enough for cushioning without losing tactile sensitivity.
- For securing dressings on small areas (fingers, wrist, ear, eyebrow area after PMU procedures): apply the sterile dressing first, then secure it with the bandage, without overtightening.
- Finally, press the free end over the layer underneath — it adheres by itself through cohesion.
- After the session, unroll the bandage and discard it: it is a single-use product, replaced with each client.
Tips from us
- Do not apply the bandage at maximum stretch, especially on fingers or over joints — moderate tension maintains compression without affecting comfort or circulation.
- The material resists green soap, tattoo ink, and sterile water, so you can wipe the surface during the session without the bandage coming undone.
- Black ink stains are more visible on pink than on darker colors — they do not affect functionality; if they bother you visually, apply an additional clean wrap over the stained area.
- You can use the colors from the Pro Wrap range for visual station coding: for example, one color for the lining machine and another for the shading machine, so you can identify them at a glance.
- The 2,5 cm width covers large surfaces more slowly — for a full grip or wide areas, overlap multiple wraps or choose a wider variant, if available.
- Store the roll at room temperature, in its packaging — the compact format makes it suitable for a mobile convention kit.
Frequently asked questions
Does it stick to skin, hair, or gloves?▾
No. The bandage is cohesive, meaning it adheres only to itself. It is secured by simply pressing the end over the layer underneath, and at the end it is removed comfortably without pulling on skin or hair — which is why it is also appreciated for securing dressings on the facial area after PMU procedures.
Can I reuse the bandage on multiple clients if it looks clean?▾
No. It is a single-use product per session: everything that has been in the work area is considered contaminated, regardless of appearance. Unroll it and discard it at the end of each session, along with the other protective barriers. The roll itself is kept clean at room temperature, and you cut only what you need from it.
I am allergic to latex — can I use it?▾
Yes. According to specifications, the bandage is 100% latex-free, with a synthetic composition (95% non-woven PPSB material and 5% spandex) and CE compliance, so it is a safe option for artists and clients with latex sensitivity. If however an irritation of another nature occurs, discontinue use.
Which should I choose: the 2,5 cm width or a wider one?▾
The 2,5 cm width is designed for precision work: protecting fingers under gloves, securing dressings on small areas (fingers, ear, wrist, eyebrows) and grip customization details. For quickly covering a full grip or wide areas, a wider width is more efficient — but you can achieve the same result with 2,5 cm by overlapping several wraps, only the process takes a little longer.
Does it come undone or slip during work?▾
No, if applied correctly. The material does not slip, it maintains the initial tension applied and keeps compression for a long time, and the stretch of up to 150% allows precise wrapping. Press the free end well over the bandage at the end and avoid pulling at the edges with gloves during the session.
Does the pink transfer to skin or equipment?▾
No. The pink pigment is stably impregnated into the synthetic non-woven fibers and does not transfer to skin, gloves, or equipment. The color is strictly an aesthetic choice — the technical properties (cohesion, elasticity, fluid resistance, latex-free composition) are identical to the rest of the Pro Wrap range.
