Big Wasp X Series Round Liner cartridges are disposable needles dedicated to lining and contouring in tattooing, from fine details to bold outlines. The needles are made of 316L stainless steel, mounted in a transparent medical-grade plastic cartridge with a silicone anti-reflux membrane that prevents ink from flowing back into the machine. Each cartridge comes individually packaged and sterilized with EO gas (ethylene oxide), suitable for both professional artists and beginners working on rotary machines with a cartridge system.

How to use

1. Check the integrity of the individual sterile packaging and the sterilization expiry date — if the blister is damaged, open, or wet, do not use the cartridge.
2. Wash your hands, put on new disposable gloves, and prepare the workstation with protective barriers (plastic wrap on the machine, clip cord sleeve, grip covers).
3. Remove the cartridge from the blister without touching the tip and insert it into the grip of the rotary machine until it locks firmly.
4. Adjust the needle hang from the grip appropriate for lining and start the machine at your usual parameters for linework.
5. Visually check through the transparent cartridge body that the needle tip is straight and clean, then do a short test run before touching the skin.
6. Dip the tip into the ink cup and draw the lines with continuous movements and constant hand speed; the transparent body helps you monitor the ink flow as you go.
7. Wipe off excess ink with a disposable paper towel and re-dip the tip as needed.
8. At the end of the session, remove the cartridge from the grip and immediately discard it in a sharps container — it is single-use and must not be reused under any circumstances.

• Choose the RL configuration according to the desired line thickness: small numbers (1RL, 3RL) for fine lines, scripting, and details; medium numbers (5RL, 7RL) for general lining; and large numbers (9RL and above) for thick, bold outlines.
• For clean lines, the secret is constant hand speed — if the line comes out broken or uneven, adjust the machine parameters and rhythm, do not go over the same fresh line multiple times.
• Use the transparent cartridge body to your advantage: constantly monitor how much ink the needle has and whether the tip remains clean and aligned.
• Do not use a liner as a shader — the tight grouping of RL needles is designed for defined lines, not for uniform shading; for shading, choose dedicated configurations.
• Store unused cartridges in their original packaging in a clean, dry place, away from moisture and sources of contamination.
• Keep in stock several RL sizes (e.g., one fine, one medium, and one thick) so you can cover both details and outlines in a single piece.
