Guide & full description

Complete guide: Biotat Blush Numbing Tattoo Glide 500g

Biotat Blush Numbing Tattoo Glide is a working cream for tattoo artists, designed to replace the usual petroleum jelly used during the session. In addition to its role as a lubricant for skin and needle, it contains natural ingredients (clove oil, vegan honey, lavender) with anesthetic properties that help reduce the client's discomfort, redness, and swelling. The layer remains transparent and does not remove the stencil, so it can be applied directly to the area prepared for tattooing. It can also be used afterward as an aftercare product for the fresh tattoo.

How to use

Prepare and clean the skin area to be tattooed, following the standard studio procedure.
Apply the stencil (design) as you usually do — the product does not affect it, as it does not remove the design reflected on the skin.
Apply a layer of Tattoo Glide to the area, using it as you would any petroleum jelly or working 'butter'.
Reapply the product during the session whenever the skin needs additional lubrication, so that the needle glides smoothly and the design remains visible.
At the end, clean the tattooed area according to the studio's usual protocol.
For aftercare, the client can apply the product to the fresh tattoo 2-3 times a day as a lubricant.
Close the container tightly after each use, away from heat and direct light.

Tips from us

It is based on natural ingredients (clove oil, vegan honey, lavender), not lidocaine — useful to mention to clients who prefer formulas without synthetic anesthetics.
The transparent layer maintains the visibility of the stencil lines, so you can work with precision even on black-gray and light colors.
Use an appropriate amount — enough for lubrication, but without excess that would hinder viewing the design.
Test the skin reaction on first use with each new client, especially if they have a history of skin sensitivities.
Recommend that the client continue applying the product at home during the fresh tattoo aftercare period.

Warning: The product contains clove extract (eugenol) — not recommended for clients with known sensitivity to eugenol. Avoid contact with eyes; if it happens, rinse immediately with water. Keep out of reach of children and pets. If swallowed, seek medical advice. Discontinue use if any skin reaction occurs. As with any product used on exposed skin, take the required amount with a clean, single-use spatula or applicator per client to avoid contaminating the rest of the container.

Frequently asked questions

Does it contain lidocaine, like other numbing creams for tattoos?▾

No. According to the manufacturer's description, the formula is based on natural ingredients — medical-grade petroleum jelly, clove extract, glycerol, vegan honey, lavender, and mica — without lidocaine and without artificial colors or fragrances.

Does it ruin the stencil design applied to the skin?▾

No, the product is described as super-smooth and does not remove the design reflected on the skin, so it can be applied over the stencil without wiping it off.

Can it also be used at home, after the tattoo session?▾

Yes. The product can also be used as aftercare, applied to the tattooed area 2-3 times a day to lubricate the skin.

How do I use it hygienically without contaminating the container between clients?▾

As with any product used on exposed skin, the safest way is to take the required amount with a clean, disposable spatula or applicator, instead of putting your fingers directly into the container, and keep it closed between uses.

Is it suitable for any client, or are there contraindications?▾

The manufacturer warns not to use it on people sensitive to eugenol (a compound in clove oil), to avoid the eye area, and to discontinue use if any skin reaction occurs. It is useful to ask the client about known allergies before application.

Does it clog the tattoo machine needle?▾

No, according to the description it is super-smooth and does not clog the needles, so it behaves like a regular petroleum jelly or working 'butter' during the session.

Product description

FOR ARTISTS - Beat the pain of your clients. The original tattoo product with a touch of natural pink. Use it like any vaseline or like process butter with the added benefit of anesthetizing the area, while dramatically reducing swelling and redness.
