Guide & full description

Complete guide: Biotek wire Eyebrows white 10m

Biotek white eyebrow thread 10m is a mapping thread pre-impregnated with white pigment, used by micropigmentation (PMU) and microblading artists to trace guide lines on the skin before the actual procedure. Gently pressed onto the skin, the thread leaves a visible white mark, which helps establish the shape, symmetry, and proportion of the eyebrows before starting the final outline. The 10-meter roll, manufactured by Biotek, is designed as a working accessory for PMU studios and artists, whether they are just practicing mapping or already experienced and want additional shape control.

How to use

Prepare and sanitize the eyebrow area according to your usual protocol before mapping.
Detach from the roll a portion of white thread, long enough for the outline of one eyebrow.
Place the thread along the desired line (base, arch, tail), holding it taut for a clean line.
Gently press the thread onto the skin for a few seconds, so that the white pigment on it transfers as a visible mark.
Carefully lift the thread and check the result; adjust the position and repeat if the mark is not clear enough.
Repeat the process for the second eyebrow, using landmarks/measurements to maintain symmetry between the two.
Compare the two shapes from multiple angles before validating the outline as a guide for the final drawing or procedure.
Dispose of the used thread after each client — it is a single-use consumable per procedure.

Tips from us

Cut only the length of thread you need at a time, so as not to waste the roll.
Work on dry skin in the application area — moisture can blur or spread the white pigment mark.
Check symmetry with the client seated upright, chin parallel to the floor, from the front and in profile.
Use a new segment of thread for each client, even if the roll still has enough length for multiple applications.
Store the roll in a clean, dry place away from dust between uses, so that the remaining thread does not become contaminated.

Warning: The mapping thread comes into contact with the client's skin, so the usual hygiene rules of a PMU studio apply: use a new segment of thread for each client, do not reuse already applied portions, and properly dispose of waste after each procedure. Avoid application on irritated skin, with open lesions or active conditions in the eyebrow area, and follow the disinfection protocol of the area before mapping.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is this thread used for?▾

It is a thread pre-impregnated with white pigment, used as a preparatory drawing tool: you apply it to the skin to trace the guide lines of the eyebrows before micropigmentation or microblading, so that the final shape is symmetrical and well-proportioned before you start the actual work.

Can it be used for other areas, not just eyebrows?▾

According to the manufacturer's description, this thread is specifically intended for eyebrow mapping. If you need a mapping accessory for other areas, the safest is to check if there is a dedicated version for that procedure.

Can the thread be reused on multiple clients?▾

No — even though the 10-meter roll allows many applications, each segment of thread used on a client must be disposed of after the procedure. For each new client, a fresh segment cut from the roll is used.

Why is it white and not another color?▾

The white thread is chosen for good visibility on most skin tones — the product description confirms that it is sufficiently visible on any skin type, which helps in clearly tracing the guide lines before choosing and applying the final pigment.

How many procedures does a 10-meter roll cover?▾

The manufacturer does not specify an exact number of uses, only mentions that the roll offers 'a generous number of uses'. In practice, the number of applications depends on how much thread length you consume per mapping, so it varies from artist to artist.

Do I need special equipment to use it?▾

No, the thread itself does not require special equipment — you only need to cut it to the right length and apply it by hand. For symmetry, many PMU artists additionally use measuring tools (ruler, compass), but these are not part of this product.
