Guide & full description

Complete guide: Deziamino - Concentrated Surface Disinfectant 1000ml

A concentrated 2-in-1 detergent-disinfectant that cleans and disinfects in the same step hard, non-porous surfaces and instruments. The formula based on a synergistic blend of amine and quaternary ammonium compound maintains its effectiveness even in the presence of organic soil, and the ready-to-use solution does not stain and is not corrosive. It is designed for the professional environment — from medical and dental offices to beauty salons — so it fits very well into the hygiene routine of a tattoo studio, for countertops, trays, chairs and the work area. The 1000 ml bottle being concentrated, you obtain a much larger volume of working solution.

How to use

  1. Read the product label and technical data sheet for the recommended dilution concentration and contact time for your purpose (surface disinfection or instrument disinfection).
  2. Prepare the working solution: measure the exact amount of concentrate indicated by the manufacturer and mix it with water in a clean container – the product is water-soluble. Wear gloves when handling the concentrate.
  3. If the surface has large visible residues, remove them first; the detergent + disinfectant formula remains effective under soiled conditions, but good practices require not working over thick deposits.
  4. Apply the solution to hard, non-porous surfaces – worktop, trays, armrest, handles, lamps – by wiping with a clean cloth or following the method indicated on the label.
  5. Keep the surface wet for the entire contact time specified by the manufacturer; do not wipe or use the area before it expires.
  6. For instruments, follow the label instructions regarding immersion and subsequent steps – chemical disinfection does not replace cleaning and sterilization where these are required by protocol.
  7. Label the working solution container (content and preparation date) and replace the solution at the interval recommended by the manufacturer.

Tips from us

  • Dose precisely – 'more concentrated' does not mean 'more effective'. Following the dilution on the label gives you both the manufacturer-tested effectiveness and the best cost per liter of working solution.
  • The concentrate has an alkaline pH (10.7–11.1), so handle it with gloves and avoid contact with skin and eyes; the correctly diluted solution is designed for routine work.
  • Do not mix the product with other cleaning or disinfecting solutions – chemical combinations can cancel effectiveness or generate unwanted reactions.
  • Use dedicated cloths per area (work zone vs. administrative zones) to avoid transferring dirt from one part of the studio to another.
  • The ready-to-use solution does not discolor or stain treated surfaces, making it suitable also for visible salon furniture; on sensitive materials, still test first on a small area.
  • Keep the concentrate bottle in its original packaging, tightly closed, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, and note the date of first opening.
Warning: Professional biocidal product for use on surfaces and instruments – NOT a skin antiseptic and must not be applied to your or the client's skin. Use biocidal products with caution: always read the label and product information before use. The concentrate is alkaline (pH 10.7–11.1): wear gloves, avoid contact with eyes and skin, and rinse immediately with plenty of water in case of contact. Do not mix with other substances, store in the original labeled container, and keep out of reach of children. Surface disinfection complements but does not replace disposable protective barriers and sterilization of critical instruments.

Frequently asked questions

Is it suitable for my tattoo studio or is it just for hospitals?

It is suitable. The manufacturer recommends it for medical units, dental offices, and also for beauty salons – exactly the type of environment you work in. In the studio you use it on hard, non-porous surfaces: the work station countertop, trays, seat, handles, frequently touched areas, as part of the cleaning routine between clients and at the end of the day.

Can I disinfect the client's skin with it before tattooing?

No, absolutely not. This is a disinfectant for surfaces and instruments, not a skin antiseptic. For skin preparation use exclusively products intended for application on skin. The concentrate is alkaline and can irritate skin and eyes, therefore it must be handled with gloves.

How do I dilute it correctly? Is there a standard ratio?

Being a concentrated product, it is always used diluted in water, and the correct ratio and contact time are those on the label and technical data sheet – they differ depending on the purpose (surfaces or instruments), so do not improvise. Measure the doses with a graduated container, not 'by eye': underdosing reduces effectiveness, overdosing only wastes product.

Does it work if there is organic dirt on the surface, e.g. traces of Vaseline or pigment?

Yes, this is one of its strengths: being a detergent and disinfectant at the same time, the formula maintains its proven effectiveness even under organic soiling conditions, thanks to surfactants with good cleaning capacity. However, as good practice, first remove large visible residues, then apply the solution and respect the contact time.

Does it stain or attack surfaces? Can I use it on salon furniture?

The ready-to-use solution does not stain, does not discolor treated surfaces, is not corrosive and does not oxidize, so it is safe for hard, non-porous surfaces in the salon, including those visible to clients. On more sensitive or painted materials, first test on a small, hidden area – a precaution valid for any chemical product.

How long can I keep the diluted solution after preparing it?

The shelf life of the working solution is that indicated by the manufacturer on the label, so check there for the exact interval. As a general rule of good practice: prepare only the amount you will consume in a short period, store it in a clean, closed container labeled with the preparation date, and replace it at the recommended term or if it becomes visibly dirty.
