Guide & full description
Complete guide: Klintensiv Disinfectant Surface Wipes 80 pcs
Pre-impregnated wet wipes, ready to use, for cleaning and disinfection of surfaces, instruments and medical devices — applied by simple wiping, without dilution and without rinsing. The pack contains 80 pieces, and the controlled dosage (one uniformly impregnated wipe) reduces the risk of cross-contamination compared to solutions poured onto cloths. In the tattoo studio, they are useful for the work station, countertops, chair arms, and frequently touched points, and the virucidal efficiency is tested according to EN 14476.
How to use
- Open the pack and extract a single impregnated wipe, then immediately reseal the cap or self-adhesive foil so the remaining wipes do not dry out.
- Wipe the targeted surface so as to form a continuous and uniform film of liquid — the product is used as is, undiluted, on clean or dirty surfaces.
- Dose correctly: the indicative consumption is 2 wipes/m², depending on the degree of dirtiness and the surface texture.
- Respect the contact time according to the desired effect: 5 minutes for bactericidal and virucidal effect, 10 minutes for yeasticidal and fungicidal effect, 60 minutes for mycobactericidal, tuberculocidal and sporicidal effect.
- For instruments and external equipment (e.g., apparatus that does not come into contact with injured skin), completely cover the surface with a film of liquid and maintain the contact time of 5–60 minutes, depending on the disinfection level targeted.
- Do not rinse after application — let the surface dry; the product does not stain or discolor surfaces.
- Discard the wipe after use: a used wipe should not be reused on another area, so as not to transfer dirt from one place to another.
Tips from us
- In a tattoo studio, focus on frequently touched points: countertops, handles, work tables, chair arms and external equipment — exactly the areas recommended by the manufacturer for this type of product.
- Wipe first in clean areas and only then in visibly dirty ones, and on heavily loaded surfaces increase the number of wipes — the consumption of 2 pcs/m² is indicative.
- If you want coverage also for spores (the most demanding level in the efficiency table), plan disinfection at the end of the day: the required contact time is 60 minutes.
- Reclose the packaging immediately after each extraction — good sealing between uses is what keeps the wipes impregnated throughout the pack's lifespan.
- Wear disposable gloves during disinfection, as with any biocidal product — you protect your skin and maintain the hygiene chain of the station.
- Wiping disinfection does not replace protective barriers (foils for clip cord, machine, countertop): use them together — barrier during work, wiping when preparing and dismantling the station.
Frequently asked questions
Do they need to be diluted or rinsed after use?▾
No. The wipes are pre-impregnated and ready to use: they are used as such, undiluted, and after wiping rinsing is not necessary. Let the liquid film act and the surface dry. The product does not stain or discolor surfaces.
How long should they act to effectively disinfect?▾
It depends on the desired effect, according to the product's efficiency table: 5 minutes for bactericidal and virucidal effect, 10 minutes for yeasticidal and fungicidal effect, and 60 minutes for mycobactericidal, tuberculocidal and sporicidal effect. Practical rule: keep the surface visibly wet (continuous liquid film) for the entire contact time.
Can I wipe the tattoo machine, clip cord, or work surface with them?▾
Yes, they are intended exactly for this type of use: surfaces, instruments and external equipment — countertops, handles, apparatus. In the studio you use them for preparing and dismantling the work station. However, note: wiping does not replace protective barriers (foils) during the session nor sterilization for reusable instruments that come into contact with injured skin.
Are they effective against viruses as well?▾
Yes. The virucidal efficiency is tested according to standard EN 14476, and the spectrum covered in the manufacturer's tests includes both enveloped and non-enveloped viruses — including hepatitis B and C viruses, HIV, influenza viruses, adenoviruses and noroviruses. For the virucidal effect, the indicated contact time is 5 minutes.
How much area does one pack cover and how do I choose it versus a liquid disinfectant with spray?▾
The pack has 80 pieces, and the indicative consumption is 2 wipes/m², so one pack covers indicatively up to 40 m² of wiped surface — less if surfaces are very dirty or textured. Wipes are the practical choice when you want controlled dosage, without additional devices and without the risk of pouring too much or too little; a liquid spray remains useful for large surfaces, where you refill the bottle.
How do I keep the wipes from drying out between uses?▾
Close the cap or self-adhesive foil immediately after each extraction — the packaging is waterproof and resistant precisely to seal well between uses and keep the wipes impregnated. Take out only one wipe at a time and do not leave the pack open on the station during work.
