Paper tape is used to secure sterile compresses or protective film on fresh tattoos, especially on areas that don't allow circumferential wrapping, such as the back, chest or abdomen. It is especially recommended for clients with sensitive skin or latex allergy.

How to use

Clean and dry well the area of skin where the tape will be applied.
Tear off the required length from the roll by hand, using the dispenser.
Apply the piece to the edge of the compress, directly onto healthy skin, without unnecessarily covering the surrounding areas.
For a standard compress, secure one piece on each side; for larger compresses, add extra pieces along the sides.
Avoid applying the tape directly over the compress — place it only on the edges.
Write on the tape with a pen the time when the client should remove the dressing, if useful.

Tips from us

On very oily or sweaty skin, adhesion may be reduced — clean and dry the area well before application.
If you need stronger adhesion on problematic areas, transparent tape can be an alternative.
Instruct the client to moisten the edges of the tape with warm water for a few minutes before removal, to avoid traumatizing the skin.
When removing, pull slowly, at a 180-degree angle, holding the skin taut with the other hand, without sudden movements.
Check the packaging marking regarding the absence of latex and include a question about latex allergy in the studio's consent form.
