Guide & full description
Complete guide: Set 100 Microaplicatoare de unica folosinta Black 1.2mm
This set contains 100 disposable micro applicators, black color, with a 1,2 mm tip — the finest diameter in the Saferly micro applicator range (alongside the 2,0 mm and 2,5 mm variants, color-coded for quick identification). They are designed for precise application of pigments, primers, cleaning solutions, or topical anesthetic in micropigmentation, microblading, and permanent makeup procedures, especially in small and hard-to-reach areas such as the eyelash line, lip contour, or eyebrow details. The microfiber tip is bendable, which helps access difficult angles, and each applicator is individually wrapped for single use. It is a basic consumable that any PMU/micropigmentation studio always keeps on hand.
How to use
- Remove a single micro applicator from its packaging, just before using it on the client — do not open several in advance.
- Gently dip the microfiber tip into the product you want to apply: pigment, primer, cleaning solution, or topical anesthetic.
- Use the 1,2 mm diameter for small and detailed areas — the eyelash line, lip contour, fine eyebrow corrections — where precision matters more than the amount of product.
- If you need to reach a difficult angle, gently bend the flexible tip for better contact with the work area.
- For each different product applied (pigment, primer, cleaning solution, etc.), use a separate micro applicator to avoid mixing substances on the same tip.
- After use on a client, immediately discard the applicator — it is disposable, so it should not be reused even on the same client at a later stage.
- Keep the rest of the set sealed, in a dry and clean place, until the next session.
Tips from us
- Choose the right diameter for the procedure: 1,2 mm for small areas and fine details, 2,0 mm for general applications, 2,5 mm when you want to retain more product on the tip for larger areas.
- Take advantage of the color code of the range to quickly identify the correct size in your kit, especially if you work with multiple variants simultaneously.
- Keep in mind that a set of 100 pieces covers, on average, 20-30 sessions (approximately 3-6 weeks of activity for a studio with average volume), so you can plan restocking in advance.
- Don't limit yourself to PMU — the fine 1,2 mm tip is also useful in classic cosmetics, for applying eyelash serum, eyebrow dye, or primer in the eye area.
- Keep a separate stock, dedicated exclusively to anesthetics or cleaning solutions, to avoid any confusion with applicators used for pigment.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly are the 1,2 mm micro applicators used for?▾
They are used for precise application of pigments, primers, cleaning solutions, or other products in small and detailed areas. The fine 1,2 mm diameter makes them suitable for the eyelash line, lip contour, and fine eyebrow details, as well as for applying topical anesthetic in hard-to-reach areas before microblading.
Why are they disposable and cannot be reused?▾
For hygiene and safety reasons: using a new applicator for each client (and ideally for each product applied) eliminates the risk of cross-contamination. It is part of the mandatory professional protocol of any micropigmentation studio.
What is the difference between the 1,2 mm, 2,0 mm, and 2,5 mm variants?▾
1,2 mm is the finest variant, for maximum precision on small areas. 2,0 mm is more versatile and suitable for most current applications. 2,5 mm retains more product on the tip and is useful for covering larger areas or for a more uniform application. They are color-coded so you can quickly distinguish them.
How many micro applicators are used, on average, per session?▾
The number varies depending on the procedure and how many different products are applied, but on average 3-5 micro applicators are used per session. Some technicians prefer a new applicator for each product applied separately, which increases the total number used.
How long does a set of 100 pieces practically last?▾
On average, a set of 100 pieces covers 20-30 micropigmentation sessions, depending on how many applicators you use per procedure — approximately 3-6 weeks of activity for a studio with average booking volume.
Are they compatible with all types of pigments and solutions used in PMU?▾
Yes, according to the description they are compatible with all micropigmentation pigments (both organic and mineral based), as well as with primers, topical anesthetics, and cleaning solutions used in PMU procedures. The dense synthetic fibers of the tip retain and release the product in a controlled manner.
