Power Supply Hummingbird Bronc M4

Complete guide: Power Supply Hummingbird Bronc M4

The Hummingbird Bronc M4 digital power supply is a tattoo machine power source with a color LCD screen and a high-sensitivity touch panel. It can power two machines simultaneously — one for lining and one for shading — each independently adjustable, making it especially useful for artists who work with a combination of machines or frequently change techniques during the same session. It displays real-time voltage, frequency, amperage, and charge percentage, providing constant visual control over working parameters.

How to use

1. Place the power supply on a stable surface, outside the area of direct skin contact, and plug it into the outlet using the original adapter — it accepts 90-240V AC, 50-60Hz, so it works with the standard Romanian outlet.
2. Turn on the power supply using the single power button; the color LCD screen lights up and displays voltage, frequency, and charge percentage.
3. Connect the tattoo machine's clip cord to the output; you can connect up to two machines simultaneously, one for lining and one for shading.
4. Adjust the output voltage from the touch panel (range 3-18V) until you achieve the appropriate needle speed and amplitude for the technique — the panel responds even when working with gloves.
5. If working with both machines connected, set the voltage separately for each channel before starting, because the liner and shader typically use different values.
6. Monitor the amperage and frequency display during work to notice any unusual variation early.
7. At the end, turn off the power supply, disconnect the cables, and let it cool down before storage.
8. Clean and disinfect the casing according to the studio's hygiene protocol before the next use.

Tips from us

• Do not expose the power supply to moisture or liquids; the circuit board chip has anti-corrosion plating (24K gold), but this reduces the risk, it does not eliminate it.
• Check the voltage and amperage display periodically during the session, not just at startup, to detect any fluctuations.
• When connecting two machines simultaneously, test each channel separately before starting on the client to confirm each has the correct voltage set.
• Keep the power cord and clip cords away from the direct work area to avoid accidental contact with blood or sanitizing solutions.
• Wipe the casing and touch panel with a disinfectant suitable for electronic surfaces, without spraying liquid directly on the screen or connectors.
• Keep the proof of purchase — the product has a 1-year warranty.
