We are talking about a complete palette of skin tones, delivered in five 30 ml bottles — Extra Light, Light, Medium, Dark and Extra Dark — calibrated to work together. It is designed for artists who do color realism and portraits, where you need fine transitions between shades and modeling on subjects with different skin tones, from porcelain light to deep warm brown. The inks come pre-mixed and are used directly from the bottle, without any prior preparation.
How to use
- Prepare the workstation before the client: disinfected surfaces, barrier foil or bags on the bottles and on the table, disposable cups and clean gloves.
- Check each bottle before opening — intact seal, legible label, tightly closed cap.
- Shake the bottle well before pouring. Pigments may settle over time, and homogenizing gives you a consistent shade from the first to the last cup.
- Pour into separate cups only the estimated amount for the session, one cup for each shade used. Never insert the needle or the tip of the module directly into the bottle.
- Close the cap immediately after pouring and put the bottle aside, upright, so you don't knock it over during work.
- Build the tone in layers, starting from light shades to dark ones. The five tones mix with each other for gradual transitions and for volume.
- For custom shades you can mix the tones from the set among themselves or with other colors from the Xtreme Ink range — they are chemically compatible, so the mixtures remain predictable.
- At the end of the session, throw away the cups together with the remaining ink. Never pour ink back into the bottle. Wipe the outside of the bottles, check that the caps are tightly closed and store them at room temperature, protected from direct light and excessive heat.

- Do a gradient test on synthetic skin before the first real session. The five tones read differently next to each other than in the bottle, and the exercise shows you exactly where each step falls.
- Write down the proportions when mixing a custom shade. At touch-up or the next session you will want to reproduce exactly the same tone, and it won't work from memory.
- Label the cups when working with close tones. Extra Light and Light are very easily confused once poured, especially under work light.
- Pour a little and top up as needed. The ink left in the cup cannot be recovered, so waste is directly visible in consumption.
- Keep the bottles upright, with caps tightly closed, in a space without large temperature variations — not on the windowsill and not near a heat source.
- The set works as a coordinated base for portraits; you can supplement it over time with other colors from the same range, without worrying about mixing incompatibilities.
