Guide & full description

Complete guide: Aloe Tattoo Plus Gel 80ml Stencil Transfer

A professional transfer gel that fixes the stencil design from the paper directly onto the skin, with clear and precise lines. The gel texture ensures optimal stencil adhesion, and the 80 ml pump bottle makes dosing convenient and hygienic. It is transparent, odorless, and non-toxic, so it easily integrates into any tattoo artist's routine — from beginner to experienced artist.

How to use

  1. Prepare the work area: shave, clean, and degrease the client's skin, then dry it completely — the gel adheres properly only on clean, dry skin.
  2. With disposable gloves, dispense a small amount of gel from the pump bottle into your palm or onto a disposable spatula, without touching the nozzle to the skin.
  3. Spread a thin, even layer over the entire area where you want the design to appear — since it's transparent, check under good light to ensure no uncovered spots remain.
  4. Wait a few moments until the gel becomes slightly tacky on the surface, not wet.
  5. Place the stencil paper with the ink side onto the skin, press evenly over the entire surface, and do not move it at all while in contact.
  6. Lift the paper in one smooth motion, carefully, from one edge.
  7. Let the stencil dry completely before starting to tattoo — an unfixed transfer will wipe off at the first contact.
  8. Finally, wipe the nozzle and the outside of the bottle and close it, then store it in the clean area of your station.

Tips from us

  • Less is more: a layer too thick will cause lines to widen or blur during transfer. Apply thinly and evenly.
  • Test your setting time on a small area until you calibrate your technique — the ideal moment is when the gel is tacky but no longer wet.
  • Start tattooing from the bottom or from the area opposite your support hand, so you don't wipe off the stencil with your glove or when wiping excess ink.
  • Dispense all the gel you need during setup, before you start working — that way you won't touch the pump with contaminated gloves during the session.
  • Keep the bottle closed, at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight.
  • The gel texture does not run, so it is especially convenient on curved or vertical areas (arms, calves, ribs), where a liquid solution would drip.
Warning: For external use only, intended exclusively for stencil transfer in a professional context. Always work with gloves and do not apply the gel on irritated, damaged, or freshly tattooed skin. Although it is declared non-toxic and odorless, discontinue use if any skin reaction occurs. The pump bottle reduces the risk of contamination as you do not come into direct contact with the product, but sanitize the outside of the bottle between clients and keep it in the clean area of your workstation. Keep out of reach of children.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of stencil paper does the gel work with?

With classic stencil transfer paper — either hand-drawn or printed on a thermal stencil printer. The gel is applied to the skin, not the paper: its role is to pick up and fix the ink from the stencil at the moment of contact, for a clear and durable design throughout the work.

How long should I wait after transfer before I can start tattooing?

Let the stencil dry completely — usually a few minutes, depending on how thinly you applied the gel and the studio temperature. A simple test: lightly touch an edge of the design with your glove; if the ink does not lift, you can start. Rushing is the main cause of stencils wiping off halfway through the work.

How do I keep the bottle hygienic between clients?

The pump bottle is designed exactly for this: you dispense without putting your fingers into the product. To keep it clean, only dispense gel with gloves, do not touch the nozzle to skin or contaminated surfaces, and wipe the outside of the bottle with a surface disinfectant between sessions. Ideally, dispense everything you need during setup, before you start working.

Gel or liquid transfer solution — which to choose?

The gel offers more control: it doesn't run, spreads easily in a thin, even layer, and gives you time to position the stencil correctly — a real advantage on curved or vertical areas. Liquid solutions are preferred by some artists used to them, but they can drip and are harder to dose. For clean transfers with minimal effort, including for beginners, the gel is the convenient choice.

I positioned the stencil wrong. Can I wipe it off and repeat the transfer?

Yes. Clean the area thoroughly with soap and water or a skin cleanser, dry well, then reapply the gel and transfer with a new stencil or the same one if it's still in good condition. Do not apply a new stencil over traces of the old one — double lines will confuse you during work.

How long does an 80 ml bottle last?

It depends on the size of the designs and how often you work, but the consumption per transfer is low because the gel is applied in a very thin layer. The pump helps here too: you dispense exactly what you need, without waste.
