Guide & full description

Complete guide: Balm Tattoo Stencil Remover 250ml

Balm Tattoo Stencil Remover 250ml is a professional, 100% vegan solution dedicated to removing stencil from the skin before tattooing — whether classic thermal stencil or gentian violet. It is useful for any artist repositioning the stencil or wanting to prepare the client's skin for a new transfer, without resorting to isopropyl alcohol. It contains Aloe Vera extract and tea tree oil, dries quickly, and is dermatologically tested, designed for professional studio use.

How to use

Apply a small amount of Stencil Remover to a clean paper towel (not directly on the skin).
Wipe the unwanted stencil area using gentle motions, without strong rubbing.
Thermal stencil ink or gentian violet usually dissolves on the first pass.
For older stencils or those applied with stronger solutions, repeat with a second wipe.
After complete removal, dry the area with a clean towel.
Proceed with reapplying the new stencil or, if the area is ready, with starting the tattoo.

Tips from us

No need for a large amount — a few drops on a towel are enough for a medium-sized stencil, making a 250ml bottle last a long time in the studio.
The alcohol-free formula makes it suitable for freshly shaved skin as well, without the excessive drying effect of isopropyl alcohol.
Use the product only pre-tattooing, on intact skin — not on a freshly finished tattoo or on damaged skin areas.
When repositioning a stencil, completely remove the old trace before reapplying so the new transfer adheres cleanly to the skin.
Close the bottle cap tightly after each use to prevent evaporation and maintain the solution's effectiveness over time.

Warning: Although dermatologically tested and formulated without alcohol, Stencil Remover is intended exclusively for intact skin before tattooing — do not apply on a freshly finished tattoo or on skin with an open wound. For after-session cleaning, use dedicated products. As with any topically applied cosmetic product, if an unusual skin reaction occurs, discontinue use. Keep out of reach of children and store in a studio professional area.

Frequently asked questions

How to use Balm Tattoo Stencil Remover?▾

Apply a small amount to a clean paper towel, then wipe the unwanted stencil area with gentle motions. The ink usually dissolves on the first pass; for older stencils or those applied with stronger solutions, a second wipe may be needed. After complete removal, dry the area and proceed with reapplying the stencil or tattooing.

Does it work on gentian violet as well, not just thermal stencil?▾

Yes. The product is formulated to dissolve both thermal stencil ink and gentian violet pigment, which is typically hard to remove with just water and soap.

Can it be used on freshly shaved skin before tattooing?▾

Yes — the formula is alcohol-free, so it does not dry out or irritate freshly shaved skin the way isopropyl alcohol, the traditional stencil removal method, does.

How long does a 250ml bottle last in a studio?▾

Usage per application is small — a few drops on a towel are enough for a medium-sized stencil. A studio with 2-3 active artists can use one bottle over 4-6 months.

Can I use Stencil Remover at the end of the session on a fresh tattoo?▾

It is not recommended directly on a freshly finished tattoo or on skin with an open wound — the product is designed for pre-tattoo use on intact skin. For after-session cleaning, use dedicated products such as water and mild soap.

How do I store the bottle for best effectiveness?▾

Close the cap tightly after each use and store the bottle away from heat and direct sunlight, like any liquid cosmetic solution — this prevents evaporation and maintains long-term effectiveness.

Product description

Balm Tattoo Stencil Remover Professional 100% vegan solution, specially made to remove the tattoo template model from the skin. It also helps to clean the skin before the tattooing process, without irritating the area. Contains Aloe Vera extract and tea tree oil. Quick drying Tea tree oil has natural hygienic properties. Dermatologically tested.100% vegan, without ingredients of animal origin. Balm Tattoo Stencil Remover 250ml is a professional stencil removal solution designed to quickly and completely eliminate any trace of thermal stencil or gentian violet from the skin, without irritating the area or negatively affecting pre-tattoo skin. In professional tattoo practice, stencil repositioning is a frequent situation — the client or artist wants to adjust placement, and the existing stencil must be completely removed before reapplication. Balm Tattoo Stencil Remover effectively dissolves stencil ink and gentian violet pigment in a single step, leaving the skin clean, unstained, and ready for a new transfer. The formula is gentle on skin — does not dry, does not irritate, and leaves no chemical residues that could interfere with the new stencil or subsequent tattoo process. At 250ml, the format covers hundreds of uses — sufficient for months of studio work. Compared to isopropyl alcohol (the traditional stencil removal method), Balm Tattoo Stencil Remover is more efficient (completely dissolves on first wipe) and gentler on skin (alcohol over-dries and irritates). The formula is alcohol-free, making it suitable for freshly shaved skin, which is usually the skin's state at the time of stencil application. European product, vegan, intended for professional studio use. Having a dedicated stencil removal solution eliminates the frustration and skin irritation associated with improvised removal methods. In a professional studio environment, efficiency and client comfort are paramount — this product delivers both. The ability to cleanly reposition stencils without skin irritation transforms the artist-client consultation process. Frequently Asked Questions
