Guide & full description

Complete guide: Pro Wrap 5cm x 4.5m Camuflaj Army Classic

This is a self-adherent cohesive bandage, 5 cm wide and 4.5 m long, in an Army Classic camouflage pattern (green, brown, black), used primarily by tattoo artists for wrapping machine grips as a protective barrier. Its particularity: it sticks only to itself, not to skin or hair, and is latex-free. You can also use it to secure compresses or dressings on arms and legs, as an alternative to medical tape.

How to use

  1. Prepare the machine grip clean and disinfected before wrapping.
  2. Unroll the end of the roll and start wrapping from the base of the grip, keeping the bandage stuck to itself on the first turn.
  3. Continue in a spiral, slightly overlapping the layers and stretching the bandage moderately (the material can stretch up to 150%) for a firm hold.
  4. Adjust the thickness of the layer to your hand until you achieve a comfortable, non-slip grip.
  5. Tear or cut the bandage to the desired length — the end sticks to itself, no additional tape needed.
  6. Check that the wrap is tight and does not come undone before you start working.
  7. At the end of the session, unwrap and discard the bandage — it is single-use per client.
  8. Apply a new piece of bandage on a clean grip for each subsequent client.

Tips from us

  • Do not tighten excessively when wrapping: you want a firm and comfortable grip, not a rigid one that tires the hand.
  • The material resists green soap, ink, and water, so you can work an entire session without the wrap coming loose.
  • Keep a stock of several rolls on hand — one roll covers approximately 3-5 grip wraps, and camouflage variants may sell out faster.
  • Being latex-free, it is a good choice if you or your clients have latex sensitivity.
  • You can reuse it as a fixation bandage for compresses on limbs — it sticks to itself and removes painlessly, unlike medical tape.
  • The choice of the Army Classic pattern over other Pro Wrap variants is purely aesthetic; the mechanical properties are the same, so go with the one that matches your studio's aesthetic.
Warning: The bandage is single-use: discard it after each client and apply a new one on a clean grip to avoid cross-contamination. Do not sterilize or autoclave it — it is not designed for that. Do not apply it directly over a fresh tattoo (open wound); first place a sterile compress, then wrap the bandage over it. When using it on skin to secure a dressing, do not tighten too much to avoid restricting circulation.

Frequently asked questions

What grips does the 5 cm width fit?

The 5 cm width covers standard pen machine and rotary machine grips well. It wraps in a spiral and conforms to the shape of the grip, so it works on most standard studio handles. If you have a grip that is much thicker or thinner than standard, adjust the number of layers until you achieve a comfortable thickness for your hand.

How long does one roll last?

A 4.5 m roll covers an average of 3-5 grip wraps, depending on how thick you wrap and the size of the grip. For a busy schedule, keep several rolls in stock so you don't run out on busy days.

Can the bandage be sterilized or reused?

No. The bandage is single-use per session and cannot be autoclaved — the elastic material and cohesive property do not withstand autoclave temperature and pressure. Apply a new piece on a clean grip for each client and discard it after use. The metal or plastic grip can be sterilized separately, but the bandage is always new.

Does it contain latex?

No, it is latex-free, making it suitable for cases where there is latex sensitivity. The declared composition is 95% non-woven material (PPSB) and 5% spandex.

Can I use the bandage for post-tattoo dressings?

Yes, it is good for securing compresses and dressings, especially on arms and legs. The advantage over medical tape is that it does not stick to the skin and can be removed painlessly. First, place a sterile compress over the tattoo, then wrap the bandage with moderate tension — do not tighten excessively to maintain circulation.

What is the difference between the Army Classic pattern and the other variants?

The difference is purely aesthetic — the pattern and colors. Army Classic uses shades of green, brown, and black (traditional woodland camouflage). The mechanical properties — elasticity, cohesion, fluid resistance, width, length — are identical across variants, so the choice depends only on your preference and studio aesthetics.

Product description

Pro Wrap elastic bandage Dimensions: 5cm x 4.5m The cohesive bandage is composed of 95% non-woven material (PPSB) and 5% spandex and has a maximum stretch coefficient of 150%. It is self-adhesive and does not adhere to other surfaces, such as skin or hair. It does not slip and is easy to apply. It keeps its initially applied tension well, maintaining the compression for a long time. Pro Wrap elastic bandage 5cm x 4.5m Army Classic Camouflage brings the traditional military camouflage pattern in classic green, brown, and black colors to the self-adhesive bandage preferred by tattoo artists. Identical properties to all Pro Wrap variants: perfect cohesion (adheres only to itself, not to skin or hair), controlled elasticity for comfortable wrapping, fluid resistance (green soap, ink, water), and latex-free composition safe for professional use. The 5 cm width optimally covers standard pen and rotary machine grips, and the 4.5m length provides sufficient material for 3-5 grip-wrapping sessions. The Army Classic pattern is one of the most requested due to its robust and professional appearance that matches most tattoo studio aesthetics. The elastic material perfectly conforms to any grip shape without slipping or unwinding during intense sessions. Replace the bandage for each new client — the standard cross-contamination prevention protocol. Secondary use: securing compresses and dressings on limbs, machine cable protection, and any application requiring cohesive non-skin-adhesive bandage. Packaged in a compact roll easy to store and rapidly access. CE compliant, confirmed latex-free. Frequently Asked Questions
