Pro Wrap 5cm x 4.5m Camuflaj Army Tropical

Complete guide: Pro Wrap 5cm x 4.5m Camuflaj Army Tropical

Pro Wrap is a cohesive self-adhesive bandage, meaning it sticks only to itself, not to skin or hair. In the tattoo studio, it is primarily used for wrapping the machine grip: it provides a more comfortable hold, absorbs sweat, and keeps protective layers securely in place during long sessions. The Army Tropical variant features a camouflage pattern in warm shades of olive green, sand, and reddish-brown — a purely aesthetic choice, as the technical properties are identical to the rest of the range. The 5 cm width fits standard grips, and the 4.5 m roll is enough for multiple re-wraps.

How to use

1. Clean and disinfect the machine grip before wrapping, following your usual protocol.
2. Tear off the required length from the roll (it tears easily by hand, no scissors needed) and start wrapping from one end of the grip.
3. Gently stretch the bandage as you wrap — it has a stretch factor of up to 150%, and moderate tension helps it stay in place.
4. Overlap each wrap over the previous one by about half the width for even coverage with no gaps.
5. Add layers as desired if you prefer a thicker, softer grip.
6. At the end, press the tip lightly: being cohesive, it sticks to itself without tape or clips.
7. Check the grip — it should be firm, not slip, and not unravel during work.
8. When changing clients, remove and discard the used bandage, then re-wrap the grip with a fresh piece.

Tips from us

• Measure and tear the desired length before starting — it goes faster and prevents uneven stretching.
• Do not stretch it to the maximum throughout; moderate tension maintains consistent compression over time.
• You can also use it to secure the clip cord or hose, keeping them out of the way during the session.
• Being declared latex-free, it is suitable for artists or clients with latex sensitivity.
• Choose the width according to the grip: 5 cm for standard grips; the pattern (Tropical, Classic, Winter) or solid colors are purely aesthetic preferences and do not affect performance.
• Keep the roll in a dry, clean place to preserve its cohesive properties.
