Pro Wrap 5cm x 4.5m Purple

Complete guide: Pro Wrap 5cm x 4.5m Purple

The purple Pro Wrap cohesive bandage is a protective consumable for the workstation in the tattoo studio, mainly used for wrapping the grips of pen and rotary machines. It sticks only to itself — not to skin, hair, or gloves — and maintains its initial tension throughout the session. It is composed of 95% non-woven material (PPSB) and 5% spandex, has a maximum stretch coefficient of 150%, and is guaranteed latex-free. The purple color adds a distinctive touch to the workstation as an alternative to classic black or white bandages, with no functional compromise compared to other variants in the range.

How to use

1. Disinfect and prepare the machine grip, then tear the end of the roll — no adhesive needed, the material sticks to itself.
2. Secure the end on the grip with a short overlap and press lightly so it adheres to itself.
3. Wrap in a spiral with about half-width overlap, stretching the material slightly for even compression (without exceeding the maximum stretch of 150%).
4. Cover the entire grip area so that the grip is ergonomically comfortable and uniform along its entire length.
5. At the end, tear or cut with clean scissors — the non-woven edge remains smooth and does not fray.
6. Press the last layer lightly to bond with the one underneath and check that it does not slip.
7. When changing clients, completely remove the used wrap and apply a new bandage on the re-sanitized grip.
8. Optionally, use the same roll for securing dressings on fresh tattoos or for protecting cables and equipment in the studio.

Tips from us

• A 4.5m roll covers approximately 3-5 full grip wraps — keep this in mind when calculating daily consumption.
• Stretch the bandage until you feel compression, but do not force it beyond the 150% limit — excessive stretching reduces uniformity and comfort.
• For thinner grips, securing small dressings, or finger wrapping, the range also includes the 2.5 cm width with the same properties.
• Resists green soap, ink, and water, so it does not come undone during work even if the grip area gets wet.
• You can choose the color based on your or your client's preference — the properties are identical regardless of the variant, so the decision is purely aesthetic.
• You don't need special scissors: any clean scissors cut cleanly, and the edge remains smooth without fraying.
