Guide & full description

Complete guide: Pro Wrap 5cm x 4.5m Green

It is a self-adherent cohesive wrap, used in tattoo studios especially for wrapping grips and for fixing dressings on fresh tattoos. It sticks exclusively to its own surface — not to skin, hair or gloves — so it applies quickly and removes without pain and without residue. The green variant has exactly the same properties as the rest of the Pro Wrap range; the color is a choice of aesthetics or visual coding of machines. It is a single-use consumable, changed with each client.

How to use

Start from a clean grip (compatible with standard grips of about 25 mm) or from the dressing already placed on the area to be fixed.
Secure the end of the wrap on the grip and press lightly — the material sticks to itself, not to your hand.
Wrap in a spiral, with partial overlap between turns, stretching the band slightly for uniform compression (the material allows up to about 150% stretch).
Maintain a moderate, constant tension — do not stretch to the maximum all the time; moderate compression holds better and is more comfortable in the grip.
Tear or cut the end and press it over the last layer; cohesion fixes it by itself, without leucoplast.
For fixing a dressing, first place the pad or film on the tattoo, then wrap the bandage over it, without sticking it directly to the skin.
At the end of the session or with each client, unwrap and discard the used wrap — it is single-use per session.

Tips from us

For thinner grips or small fixings (fingers, small pads) there is also the 2.5 cm variant, with the same properties.
Use the color as a coding system: one color per machine (e.g. lining / shading / color packing) to distinguish them at a glance.
A 4.5 m roll generally covers 3-5 wrapping sessions — plan your stock according to your work pace.
It resists green soap, tattoo ink and water, so it does not come off during repeated wiping during the session.
Store at room temperature; it has long durability (on the order of a few years), but do not overstock a color you use rarely, so as not to tie up capital unnecessarily.

Warning: The wrap is a protective barrier, not a sterilizer. It is changed with each client, together with the rest of the barrier consumables, and is not reused between clients. The grip underneath must still be cleaned or sterilized separately, according to your studio protocol. Being latex-free, it is also suitable for people sensitive to latex, but it does not replace a sterile medical dressing on the fresh wound — use it only to fix over the correct dressing.

Frequently asked questions

Does the green one have the same properties as the other Pro Wrap colors?▾

Yes. Cohesion, elasticity, fluid resistance, latex-free composition, width and length are identical across the range. Only the color differs, and the wrapping performance on the grip is the same regardless of the chosen variant.

Does it stick to skin or hair?▾

No. It adheres exclusively to its own surface, so it applies and removes without pain and without residue. That is precisely why it is a good alternative to leucoplast for fixing dressings on fresh tattoos.

5 cm or 2.5 cm — which one should I choose?▾

The 5 cm width is the standard for regular grips (around 25 mm). The 2.5 cm variant is useful for thinner grips, for fixing small pads or for wrapping fingers. Both have the same length and the same properties.

How long does a roll last and how many should I order?▾

A 4.5 m roll generally covers 3-5 wrapping sessions. Order according to your pace: if green is the main color, get more rolls; if it is a secondary color, a few are enough. The material has a durability of several years, so you can comfortably order for several weeks without worrying about the expiry date.

Can I reuse the same wrap between clients?▾

No. It is a single-use consumable per session: it is unwrapped and discarded after each client, just like any other protective barrier. The grip underneath is cleaned or sterilized separately, according to your protocol.

Does the green get confused with green soap on the grip?▾

No. Pro Wrap green is a solid, opaque green, darker than the light-translucent green of green soap, and the contexts are different: the wrap is on the grip, and green soap is in solution. As a practical advantage, green soap stains are almost invisible on the green wrap.

Product description

Pro Wrap elastic bandage Dimensions: 5cm x 4.5m The cohesive bandage is composed of 95% non-woven material (PPSB) and 5% spandex and has a maximum stretch coefficient of 150%. It is self-adhesive and does not adhere to other surfaces, such as skin or hair. It does not slip and is easy to apply. It keeps its initially applied tension well, maintaining the compression for a long time. Pro Wrap elastic bandage 5cm x 4.5m Green offers a natural and calm aesthetic to the workstation, being one of the most visually balanced colors in the range. All technical specifications are identical to other Pro Wrap variants: cohesive self-adhesive bandage adhering exclusively to itself, controlled elasticity for comfortable wrapping of standard 25mm grips, complete resistance to green soap, tattoo ink and water, 4.5m length for 3-5 wrapping sessions, and CE-certified 100% latex-free composition. Green is a popular choice among artists who appreciate an organic aesthetic or want a more subtle alternative to red or purple, yet more personalized than black. The material withstands 4-6 hour sessions without degradation, slipping, or cohesion loss. The green pigment is stable in the material, does not transfer to skin, gloves, or equipment. Primary use: grip-wrapping with change for each client, dressing fixation on fresh tattoos, equipment protection. Also available in 2.5 cm width for narrower applications. Compact packaging, store at room temperature. Single-use per session product. Frequently Asked Questions
