Guide & full description

Complete guide: Disposable bonnet - 100 pieces

Disposable head caps are a simple yet essential hygiene barrier: they completely cover the hair and prevent strands or dandruff from falling onto the sterile work area, onto the client, or into ink cups. They are made of non-woven material (PP / PPSB), have a universal size, and are comfortable to wear for the entire duration of a session. The pack of 100 pieces is designed for artists and studios who want long-term stock, but the product is equally useful in clinics, beauty salons, and cosmetic practices.

How to use

Wash and disinfect your hands before touching the cap to avoid contaminating the clean barrier.
Take out a single cap from the pack, holding it by the elastic edge.
If you have long hair, gather it loosely, then pull the cap over your entire head so that it completely covers the hair down to the forehead and nape line.
Adjust the perimeter elastic so it sits snugly but comfortably — it should not press.
Check that no strands of hair are sticking out from under the cap towards the work area.
Wear the cap for the entire session; if you are tattooing on the head or neck, you can also offer a cap to the client — the universal size fits anyone.
At the end, remove the cap by pulling from the top and discard it.
Use a new cap for each session or client — do not reuse.

Tips from us

At the beginning of the week, place 10-20 caps at the preparation station, and leave the rest in the original packaging in storage.
Store the pack in a dry place at room temperature; the non-woven material does not degrade over time and takes up minimal space because the caps are folded compactly.
For maximum hygiene standards, change the cap for each client, not just once a day.
Use them together with the rest of the barrier equipment (gloves, mask, apron, film on equipment) — a neat appearance matters both for clients and during DSP inspections.
The pack of 100 reduces frequent orders and the risk of running out of stock, and the price per piece is more advantageous than with small sets.

Warning: The caps are disposable: do not wash or reuse them, as they lose their role as a hygiene barrier. Use a new cap for each session or client. If a cap becomes contaminated with blood or other fluids, discard it according to your studio's waste management rules. The material is declared latex-free and hypoallergenic, but if you have known skin sensitivities, test your tolerance. The cap is a complementary measure — it does not replace other hygiene practices (gloves, disinfection, barriers on equipment).

Frequently asked questions

How many caps are in the pack and how long will they last?▾

The pack contains 100 pieces. The duration depends on how often you change them: if you use one cap per day, 5 days a week, a pack will last you a few months; if you change the cap for each client (2-3 per day) or several artists work, it gets used up faster. A simple rule: divide 100 by the number of caps you use in a week to estimate how many weeks of coverage you have.

What material are they made of and are they latex-free?▾

They are made of non-woven polypropylene-based material (PP / PPSB), breathable and lightweight. According to product data, they are latex-free and hypoallergenic, suitable for prolonged wear in long sessions. If you have skin sensitivities, still test tolerance before extended use.

Can I wash and reuse a cap?▾

No. They are disposable products: after use, discard them. Reusing them defeats their purpose as a hygiene barrier and increases the risk of contaminating the work area. For proper hygiene, put on a new cap for each session or client and keep the rest of the pack in a dry, clean place.

What is the difference compared to the pack of 10 pieces?▾

It is the same type of cap — same non-woven material, same universal size with perimeter elastic — only it comes in a pack of 100 pieces. Choose the large pack if you have constant consumption (studio or multiple artists), because it reduces repeat orders and usually has a better price per piece. The set of 10 is suitable when you want a small quantity or just want to try the product.

Is the cap only for the artist or can I also give it to the client?▾

Both. The artist wears it to prevent hair strands from falling onto the sterile area. If the tattoo is on the head or neck, you can also offer a cap to the client to keep hair away from the work area. The universal size and elastic adapt to any head.

What color are the caps in this pack?▾

This product is white, the standard clinical look in a professional environment. If you wish for another color, check on tatuat.ro if separate variants are available — color does not affect functionality, it is just an aesthetic choice.
