No. It is a sterile single-use product: from the moment the blister is opened and the drape has been exposed in the work area, sterility is no longer guaranteed, even if it visually appears clean. Microorganisms are not visible to the naked eye, and the purpose of the drape is precisely to guarantee an aseptic surface for each client. The correct rule: a new drape for each client, discarded at the end of the session.

For the instrument tray, yes: on 38x45 cm you can neatly fit grips or cartridges, ink cups, swabs, and small accessories used during the session. However, it is not designed to cover large surfaces, such as the entire auxiliary table or work bed — for those, use larger drapes or other protective barriers, and keep the 38x45 cm drape on the instrument tray. Many artists work exactly with this combination.

In two ways: guaranteed sterility and two-layer construction. Paper towels absorb but let liquids pass through to the surface and are not sterile; plastic sheeting is waterproof, but liquids pool on it and, likewise, it is not sterile. The sterile drape combines the absorbent nonwoven with the PE barrier and comes individually packaged in a sterile blister, so it provides exactly what hygiene standards in a professional salon require: an aseptic, dry surface isolated from the work table.

You replace it. A drape saturated with liquids is no longer doing its job: the absorbent layer can no longer retain anything, and the risk of leaks and contamination increases. Stop at an appropriate moment, move the tools safely, discard the used drape, quickly disinfect if needed, and lay out a new drape. Being an inexpensive and lightweight consumable, it is worth always having a few extra blisters ready at the station.

Before each use, check the integrity of the packaging: the blister must be tightly sealed, without perforations, tears, or traces of moisture. Any compromised packaging means the product can no longer be considered sterile and must not be used in the procedure. For storage, keep the blisters in a clean, dry cabinet or drawer, away from moisture, dust, and contact with dirty materials — ideally separate from the area where used tools are handled.
