Guide & full description

Complete guide: Ink cups with stand 13 mm

These self-standing dappen dishes are small, disposable, transparent plastic containers where you pour the amount of pigment, adhesive, remover, or primer you need during the procedure. They stand on their own on the work surface thanks to their base, so they are always within reach without tipping over. They are useful in tattooing, micropigmentation, microblading, and eyelash extensions, for both beginners and experienced artists. The pack contains 100 pieces with a diameter of 13 mm.

How to use

Prepare a clean and disinfected work surface; ideally, cover it with a protective barrier (film or barrier paper) and always work with gloves.
Place on the table only as many dappen dishes as you need for the session. Thanks to their own base, they stand on their own without additional support.
Pour into each dappen dish only the necessary amount of pigment, adhesive, remover, or primer for the current procedure to avoid waste.
Use separate dappen dishes for different products (e.g., one dish for pigment and another for remover) to avoid mixing substances.
During work, dip the needle or tool directly into the dappen dish; the stable position reduces the risk of spillage.
At the end of the procedure, discard all used dappen dishes together with the remaining contents — they are single-use.
Always change dappen dishes between clients and disinfect the work surface again before the next session.

Tips from us

Pour a little and top up as you go, instead of filling the dappen dish from the start — you save pigment and avoid contamination.
Group dappen dishes by color or product type so you don't confuse shades during work.
Keep a dedicated dappen dish for rinsing the needle (with water or solution) when working with multiple tones.
The 13 mm diameter is a medium size, suitable for small to medium amounts of product; have several pieces on hand for long sessions.
Even though they stand on their own on the table, an organizer or dappen dish holder helps you keep order at your work station.

Warning: The dappen dishes are single-use: do not wash or reuse them, even for a later session with the same client. Discard them after each procedure, along with any remaining contents, according to your salon's waste management rules. Open and fill them on a disinfected surface, wearing gloves, to maintain a hygienic workflow.

Frequently asked questions

How many dappen dishes are in the pack and what size are they?▾

The pack contains 100 pieces, each with a diameter of 13 mm. This is enough for multiple sessions, depending on how many dappen dishes you use per procedure.

Can they be reused after washing?▾

No. They are single-use dappen dishes: used once, then discarded with the remaining contents. Reuse compromises hygiene and increases the risk of cross-contamination between clients.

What types of products can I use them for?▾

You can use them for pigment, adhesive, remover, or primer. They are designed for tattooing, micropigmentation, microblading, and eyelash extension procedures.

Do they need a separate holder to stay on the table?▾

Not necessarily. These dappen dishes have their own base and stand on their own on the work surface without tipping over. A dedicated holder remains optional, just for more organization at the station.

What material are they made of?▾

They are made of transparent plastic, which helps you clearly see the amount and shade of the product inside during work.

What size dappen dish should I choose?▾

Choose the size based on how much product you use in a session: smaller models are good for small amounts, larger ones for bigger volumes. The 13 mm version is a medium choice, balanced for most procedures with small to medium amounts.
