Guide & full description

Complete guide: Ink caps with base 20 mm

A set of 100 disposable transparent plastic containers, with a diameter of Ø20 mm, into which you pour the pigment or working liquid just before the procedure. Being "based", they have their own support and stand alone on the work surface, without tipping over. They are useful for both tattoo artists and micropigmentation, microblading or eyelash extension technicians, for pigment, adhesive, remover or primer.

How to use

  1. Wash your hands, put on gloves and prepare the work surface covered with protective film or disposable field.
  2. Take out of the bag only the number of caps you need for that session — the rest remain sealed and clean.
  3. Place the caps directly on the work surface; thanks to their own base they stand alone, without a separate cap holder.
  4. Shake the pigment bottle well, then pour into each cap only the estimated amount for the session. Do not touch the bottle mouth to the edge of the cap.
  5. During work, load the needles or tool directly from the cap, keeping it always within reach in the work area.
  6. If you use multiple colors or liquids (pigment, primer, remover), allocate a separate cap for each to avoid contaminating them between each other.
  7. At the end of the session, discard all used caps along with the rest of the disposable consumables — do not wash or reuse them.

Tips from us

  • The 20 mm diameter offers a more generous volume than small caps — choose it for long sessions, fills or works with high pigment consumption, so you don't have to refill constantly.
  • Pour rather a little and top up as needed from a new cap: the remaining pigment in the cap is not poured back into the bottle.
  • The transparent plastic helps you see exactly the color and remaining level — group the caps in the order you work the colors, so you don't mix them up.
  • For micropigmentation or microblading, where quantities are small, you can use the same type of cap for primer or remover — one dedicated for each liquid.
  • Being a basic consumable, keep a backup stock in your station: the set of 100 pieces runs out faster than you think with a steady flow of clients.
Warning: The caps are strictly single-use: after the session they are discarded, regardless of how much pigment remains in them. Reusing or washing them creates a risk of cross-contamination between clients. Never pour the remaining pigment back into the bottle and do not touch the mouth of the pigment container to the cap or gloves. Always work with gloves and on a surface protected with a disposable barrier.

Frequently asked questions

How many caps do I receive and what size are they?

The set contains 100 pieces, each with a diameter of Ø20 mm. They are made of transparent plastic, disposable, so one set covers dozens of sessions, depending on how many colors you use per piece.

What does 'based' mean and why does it matter?

It means that each cap has its own support at the bottom, so it stands alone, stable, directly on the work surface. You no longer need a separate cap holder and it reduces the risk of the pigment tipping over during the session.

Can I use them for something other than tattoo ink?

Yes. According to their purpose, they are used for pigment, adhesive, remover or primer, in tattoo, micropigmentation, microblading and eyelash extension procedures. It is important to allocate a separate cap for each liquid, so as not to mix them.

Can I wash the caps and reuse them on another client?

No. They are disposable consumables: after each session they are thrown away, together with the remaining pigment in them. Washing does not sterilize them and reuse creates a real risk of cross-contamination between clients.

I am a beginner — does the 20 mm size suit me or should I get something smaller?

It depends on how much pigment you consume. The 20 mm caps have a generous diameter, suitable when you work a lot with the same color — fills, long sessions — because you don't refill often. If you use many colors in small quantities, smaller diameter caps can reduce waste; many artists keep both sizes in their station.

What do I do with the remaining pigment in the cap at the end of the session?

It is thrown away together with the cap. Once poured into the cap and used in the work area, the pigment is considered contaminated and is not poured back into the bottle. That is why it is more efficient to pour small amounts and top up as needed.
