Guide & full description

Complete guide: Capacele silicon 15mm

They are small disposable containers, with a diameter of Ø15mm, into which you pour ink during a tattoo session. The pack contains 100 pieces, and being made of soft silicone, they are a gentler alternative to classic hard plastic caps. They suit both the beginner setting up their work station and the artist who wants stable consumption without waste of ink. The 15mm size provides room for a larger amount of ink.

How to use

  1. Prepare your work station on a clean, disinfected surface, ideally covered with a protective barrier film.
  2. Place the caps on the work table; the shape of their base molds well to the surface and provides a stable grip.
  3. Pour the ink into the caps before starting - a separate cap for each color you use.
  4. At 15mm you have space for more ink, suitable for larger areas or longer sessions, so you don't have to refill often.
  5. Dip the needle tip into the ink; the soft silicone wall protects the needle if it touches the side and reduces ink splashing out of the cap.
  6. Keep the caps within reach - their shape allows a wide and easy grip between fingers if they need to be moved.
  7. At the end of the session, discard the caps together with the remaining ink - they are disposable.
  8. Disinfect the surface and work support again before the next client.

Tips from us

  • Use a dedicated cap for each color to avoid contaminating shades betwen them.
  • 15mm is a medium to large size - combine them with smaller ones when working on fine details or lines, where you need less ink.
  • Pour only as much as you estimate you will use; even though a 15mm cap can hold more, the leftover ink is thrown away anyway.
  • The soft silicone wall absorbs needle vibrations, so the ink no longer splashes out of the cap like with classic plastic ones - take advantage of this for a cleaner workflow.
  • Store the pack in a clean, dry place, away from dust, until you unseal the caps.
Warning: The ink caps are strictly disposable. Do not reuse or re-use them between clients - discard after each session together with the remaining ink, and disinfect the work surface each time. Reuse compromises hygiene and risks cross-contamination.

Frequently asked questions

How many caps does the pack contain and what size are they?

The pack contains 100 pieces, each with a diameter of Ø15mm. It is a medium to large size, providing room for a larger amount of ink.

What material are they made of?

From soft silicone. Being soft, it helps protect the needle when it touches the side wall of the cap and, by absorbing needle vibrations, prevents ink from splashing out of the cap - something that often happens with classic hard plastic caps.

Can I wash and reuse them to save money?

No. The ink caps are disposable consumables: discard after each session, together with the remaining ink. Reusing them compromises hygiene and may lead to cross-contamination between clients.

With what ink and what equipment do I use them?

They are used with regular tattoo ink, into which you dip the needle tip. They are not dependent on a specific tattoo machine - they are simply the container you work from. If you want extra stability, you can place them in a cap holder, but their own base molds to the table and provides a stable grip.

Why would I choose 15mm and not a smaller size?

15mm is a good choice when you need more ink at hand - large fill areas, shading on extended surfaces, or longer sessions, so you don't have to refill the cap often. For fine lines and details where you use little ink, a smaller size may be more practical.

What is the advantage of silicone over classic plastic caps?

Silicone is soft, so it softens the contact if the needle touches the wall and absorbs vibrations, which means that ink no longer splashes out of the cap during work. Additionally, their shape offers a wider and easier grip between fingers.

Product description

100 pieces of 15 mm silicone caps Size: Ø15mm The material from which the caps are made is silicone. The silicone material being soft helps to protect the needle from getting damaged if the needle touches the side of the cap, and besides that we all know when we touch the cap, the cough jumps out of the cap (for the classic ones), but for the silicone ones it absorbs the needle vibrations don't happen anymore. The shape of the lid stand fits very well on the work table, forming a stable grip. The shape of the cap offers a wider and easier grip of the cap between the fingers.
