A set of 10 disposable protections for the work bed: sheets made of non-woven material (PPSB) laminated with a waterproof layer, fitted with elastic for securing on the mattress. The laminated layer stops liquids — ink, blood, antiseptic solutions, sweat — before they reach the upholstery. It is designed for tattoo studios, but works just as well in cosmetic or piercing clinics, anywhere the bed needs to be protected between clients.
How to use
- Clean and disinfect the bed surface before application — the sheet protects the upholstery but does not replace disinfection between clients.
- Take one sheet from the set and unfold it along the length of the bed; the size is approximately 90×225 cm.
- Place it with the non-woven material side (the soft side) up and the waterproof layer toward the mattress, then pull the elastic over the corners of the mattress for fixation.
- Smooth out the surface to avoid wrinkles — a stretched surface is more comfortable for the client and more stable for work.
- For beds with adjustable sections, leave a little slack at the joints so the material does not overstretch when you change the position of the sections.
- After the session, with gloves still on, roll up the sheet with the contaminated side inward.
- Dispose of it according to the salon's waste management procedure — do not wash or reuse it.
- Disinfect the bed and apply a new sheet for the next client.

What is the difference compared to a non-laminated disposable sheet?▾
The waterproof layer. The laminated sheet has two layers: soft non-woven material on top plus a waterproof bottom layer that forms a complete barrier against liquids — ink, blood, antiseptic solutions. The non-laminated version, only made of non-woven, partially absorbs liquids but can let them through to the upholstery. For tattooing, where liquids are inevitable, the laminated version is the right choice; non-laminated only makes sense for dry procedures.
Can I reuse the sheet if it looks clean after the session?▾
No. It is a disposable consumable, and the fact that it 'looks clean' says nothing about biological contamination — blood, plasma, and microorganisms from the client's skin are not visible to the naked eye. Reuse creates a real risk of transmitting infections between clients and violates the hygiene practices required by tattoo studios. Change the sheet after each client, without exception.
Is it sterile?▾
No, and it doesn't need to be for its role. The sheets are delivered in a clean, hygienic but non-sterile state — exactly what is needed for bed protection, where the client lies clothed or with intact skin over most of the surface. For the actual work area and instruments, your own rules of work field and sterilization apply separately; the sheet does not replace them.
Is it comfortable for the client, or does it feel like a plastic sheet?▾
The side the client lies on is made of non-woven material (spunbond polypropylene), with a soft texture close to textiles — it is not cold and sticky to the touch like plain plastic. The waterproof layer is underneath, toward the mattress, so normally the client does not feel it. For long sessions, a well-stretched surface without wrinkles matters more for comfort than the material itself.
How long does a set last and how do I store it?▾
