Guide & full description

Complete guide: Anesthetic cream Feel Better Now 15g

This is a topical anesthetic cream based on 5% lidocaine, designed to prepare and numb the skin before procedures that cause pain or discomfort. It is used before tattooing, permanent makeup, cosmetic procedures, laser treatments, electrolysis, and similar treatments. Apply a thin layer 15-25 minutes before starting work to reduce the stinging sensation at the beginning of the procedure. It is a useful consumable for both artists and clients who are more sensitive to pain.

How to use

Clean and thoroughly degrease the area you will be working on, ensuring the skin is intact (no open wounds, irritations, or lesions).
Apply a thin layer of cream over the area – a thick layer is not necessary for it to take effect.
Allow the cream to act for 15-25 minutes, as recommended by the manufacturer, so the skin becomes prepared/numbed.
Wipe off any excess cream completely before starting the procedure, so the work area is clean and dry.
Begin the procedure while the effect is active; work methodically, one prepared area at a time.
If discomfort returns during work, you can supplement with Feel Better Now gel, formulated for application during the procedure.
Wash your hands after handling and avoid touching your eyes or mucous membranes with cream on your fingers.

Tips from us

Apply in advance: respect the 15-25 minute window before starting, so the effect is present from the very first minutes of work.
A thin, even layer is sufficient – more cream does not necessarily mean more effect, just wasted product.
For long procedures, plan your steps so you can work on areas while the skin is prepared, and keep the companion gel handy for touch-ups.
Perform a quick test on a small patch of skin on the client beforehand, especially if they have sensitive skin or a history of reactions, to avoid surprises.
Do not share the same container between clients without proper hygiene when dispensing – take the product with a clean tool, not directly from the jar with your hand, to avoid cross-contamination.

Warning: The product contains 5% lidocaine – a local anesthetic. Apply only to intact, clean skin; avoid open wounds, irritated skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. Do not use excessively and do not spread over very large areas at once to reduce the risk of reactions. Perform a tolerance test in case of sensitive skin or allergic history, and if redness, swelling, or an unusual reaction occurs, remove the cream and stop use. Individuals with known conditions, pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before use. Not for internal use – do not swallow; keep out of reach of children.

Frequently asked questions

How long before the procedure should it be applied?▾

Apply a thin layer over the work area approximately 15-25 minutes before starting the procedure, as per the manufacturer's instructions. This way, you will feel the effect from the very first minutes of work.

Does it contain lidocaine? What concentration?▾

Yes, the cream contains 5% lidocaine, a local anesthetic. This is the only concentration stated in the product data; for any other composition information, check the packaging you received.

Can it be used for microblading, micropigmentation, or microneedling, not just for tattooing?▾

Yes. It is intended for skin preparation before tattooing, permanent makeup/cosmetic procedures, laser treatments, electrolysis, and similar procedures, so it covers the PMU, microblading, micropigmentation, and microneedling area.

What if the effect wears off during the procedure?▾

The cream is designed as a preparatory step, applied beforehand. For additional comfort during work, there is the Feel Better Now gel from the same range, specially formulated for use during the procedure.

How do I choose between the cream and the gel?▾

The cream (this product) is used as a preparatory step, applied to intact skin 15-25 minutes before starting. The gel from the same range is designed for application during the procedure to enhance comfort as you work. Many studios use them together – the cream at the beginning, the gel throughout.

How do I maintain hygiene when using the cream on multiple clients?▾

Dispense the product with a clean, single-use tool, not directly from the container with your hand or a tool already used on the skin, to avoid contamination. Apply to clean, degreased skin, wash your hands after handling, and wipe off all excess before starting work.
